Wait, they called him A.C.? As in "A.C. Slater"? Clearly Lois wasn't saved by the CPR, she was saved by the bell!

I thought A.C.'s "chest compression" technique looked more like he was trying to cop a feel.
My wife, who is Red Cross certified, laughed out loud at that scene.

this is a pretty standard screwup, well beyond the bounds of "genre" fiction. No one EVER checks for a pulse - hell, they barely stop to check whether they're breathing. Not to mention the fact that everyone is instantly "okay" within minutes of being rescuscitated. Seriously, that's usually a couple of days worth of hospital stay there. It's not realism...it's shorthand. "oh, they're almost dead. and he's concerned. we move on now".

Yep. But to be fair, there's not really a good diminutive form of 'Arthur' that would suit the character. Not the way 'Bart' worked for 'Barry.'

Now why would he want to do that?
And since he was acting with a very real Erica, they do have to fake that part to a certain extent, I suppose.
My wife, who is Red Cross certified, laughed out loud at that scene.
I'm sorry to say that I didn't even catch it at the time. It wasn't until the next morning that it clicked.

And CPR on sand? That's too soft. You need to perform CPR on a hard surface.

He was just copping a feel.
What super-hero wouldn't do it in his situation?
I'm walking away now. Stop staring at me.

Will you be covering Wonder Woman 222 at all? It features Diana going to the ICC in The Hague to get charged with Max Lord's murder, and though the bulk of my legal knowledge comes from Law and Order and Arrested Development, it seems like there's a lot of bad info and utter nonsense in there. (For example, paroling Diana before she goes to trial--that can't be right, can it?) I'd really like to know if I'm wrong or the book really is as off as I think it is.

Given its part of the current DC Infinite Crisis buildup, smart money is on "utter nonsense." I mean, just starting with the total non-jurisdiction the Hague would have. . .

Crater Lake? As in the Oregon Crater Lake, which does have quite a few mountains around it? (grew up less then 40 miles from there) And if she dove in there, she'd be damn lucky not to freeze or crack her head.
