Ach, UI, isn't that nice of you! And I had a good laugh when you said "charming blogger like myself." Charming, my arse. But still, very nice of ya.

I would just like to thank to my dog and my mother and my therapist and my blogger for word plug in. I'm sooooo honoured.
I really am. Honestly.
That blasted song though - when I scrolled down I discovered the video which is quite cool.

Seriously, though, good list. And well done for getting ten whole comments without anyone complaining about the term "bloggeresses"...

I tried to comment there and dont know what happened, maybe UI has me sabotaged!!!! Only joking of course
Thanks for the mention, you've earned many brownie points from all quarters I reckon, and this makes it a second comment from me on your site.
You should also check out Knackered Kaz at http://lifesabastard.blogspot.com/ or Janine Dalton's WYSIWYG http://www.janinedalton.com/blog/ or Claire at http://www.gingerpixel.com
Course these are only one or two, I must update my blogroll again.

JL,
The 'bloggeress' term was coined by someone else I'm pretty sure so I should get away with it hopefully.
Redmum,
Thanks for that. I've been meaning to update my blogroll myself and some great blogs have been mentioned.

Jo:
From Baby Names of Ireland.
Caoimhe - Pronounced "kee + va"
From caomh "gentle, beautiful, precious." The same root as Kevin, the name has become very popular in Ireland with the original Irish spelling.
In 2003 it was the twelfth most popular name for baby girls.
A must bookmark web site when dealing with Irish books or blogs!

Well I'm likely to go to at least two Christmas parties before Christmas itself so I'll have to see. I guess it's possible I could make a third.

Thats exactly how to pronounce it...although you'll find that many Irish speakers will insist its quee-va which is the pronounciation I've heard most in Ireland
Im not very fond of this popular name lark...I've met a few D4 mothers sporting mini Caoimhes......I'd prefer it to be popular amongst the traditional Irish crowd..
Also...I grew up in London where they were just floored by the name...K ooo mi was the most popular pronounciation there..
Also I'm in London on the 20th...someone bring a camera!!

I've always pronounced Caoimhe as Quee - va. I'd no idea it was supposed
to be kee - va!
Frank,
That comment comes across as a tad sexist to me.
