I've understood that there is a lot of criticism against the belfast agreement, but... doesn't that agreement says that NI has to agree to become a part of Ireland before UK let them do so? what's wrong? or, have I misunderstood something (I guess I have, please explain)?

fisrt am an irish-american, clan crady of cavan county)i live in williamsburg, virgina. u.s.a. and was wondering how i can join this outfit!

i do some writing and i use the name "michael brady" i figure i can, since all my irish kin calls me michael, they say that edward is "a broody enlish name!" and they say that i was blessed with the "irish" and they do not wish to insult me by calling me by " an english name".

thanks to my uncles mike and sean i grew up hearing of the "struggle, and of the "blessed cause" then on easter around dinner we got a call from my uncle mike, that 7 bradys feel that morning in 1972. and that what brought it home to me! that even tough i am 7 generation an irish-american and never set foot of the blessed irish soil, i was apart of the struggle and since i have a bit of talent as a writer i try to promote the reuniting of ireland whenever i can!

the only thing i wish is that my irish brothers realize that there is a hell of alot of irish-amerins who believe and love ireland, and like i, hope pray, and dream of the day of unity.
