I agree but a lot can change. The underlying problem for a lot of no voters will be the fact that this was rejected by the French and Dutch electorates (when called the EU Constitution in 2005), and we are being asked to force it on them anyway. That is not democratic and I won't go along with it.

The Irish must stop the Lisbon Treaty.
Behind the high sounding words is a Treaty that lays the ground for total control not just of Ireland but of the entire EU by just a small number of individuals.
Just look at the US if you want to see what happens when a small clique with a hidden agenda gets control of the levers of political power and start to hollow out all the constitutional and legal rights and institutional checks protecting citizens....
Behind the bland facade of an EU President such as Blair or Juncker is the spectre of similar control by.
Better to be safe than sorry. Vote No to Lisbon.
Honest politicians who have the interests of citizens at heart will take the trouble to argue and inform. If there arguments are good, the citizens can decide on a case by case basis.
No good intention can lie behind this grab for so much power cloaked in secrecy and in high falluting words.
Vote No on Lisbon Treaty.
Vote for freedom, democracy, accountability and rational political discourse!!!

Is it true if Ireland produces a no vote....this can still be ignored in Brussels?
What was that De Rossa voted for which would not respect Irish sovereignty?

Yes, I too am full of hope for a NO vote now! It`s not right for people to be in the dark! But the TRUTH is that our Gouvernment IS trying to keep us in the Dark! All those who are undecided should go and Vote NO if they are unsure about it! Or just check up and read about it themselves!
I knew there was something fishy about this Treaty when I heard that we are the only Country having a Referendum! Thats when I read (not all) but the most important(in my eyes) parts of the treaty! This treaty paves the way to a very undemocratic Europe! Vote No!
