Oh Lisa, I just adore the pincushion you have made...and my own sea love and colours too!!
Thank you so much for the tutorial,I do lots of sewing for charity sale in our tiny village...these would be cheap and easy to make.
Where do you find these beautiful shells with holes in to use?

Lisa, this is a brilliant idea. And your finished pincushion is exquisite. My readers would love it! I'd like to link to your post from my blog. Is it okay? May I borrow a photo as a "hook"?
Either way, thanks so much for making this wonderful resource available.

Your pincushion is gorgeous! I would never stick a pin in it; I wouldn't want to ruin it with holes... Fantastic tutorial, too. Very clear and with wonderful photos to illustrate.

I just found your blog this evening. I came here from 'Under A Blue Moon'. Your needlework is exquisite and breathtakingly beautiful. I found myself going back and reading most of your entire blog. I love the color choices for your home and the way you have put things together. Most of all I love the way your faith is the centerpoint of all you do. We have that in common. I'll be back to visit you often. God bless you, Lisa. ~Adrienne~

I love the way that turned out. I especially like the feather over on the left, and the way you used the tiny seashells.

BEAUTIFUL!!!!
I NEED to make one. I was born and raised on the sea! I love the colours you picked, your hand stitching, the beads and shells you added! I look at this and it feels very balanced and harmonious!
(plus I like to find a recycled use for used and unusable CDs)
