If you can be the authority in their lives now...your words will carry on and protect them from the dangers and the "real" brutes in the world...like drugs...promiscuity...AIDS...

Dont feel like you are mean...they dont need friends..they need a loving and protective momma who they know loves them enough to be stern when necessary...but at the same time it is all done BECAUSE of love...

In all this, Jesus loved us as a father loves a child...and teaches us and scolds us as a loving father should...
