Whatcha Got to Say?
To add to the gold rock value thingy. America's currency is no longer backed by gold. Hasn't been since the early 1900s. 
That's why it's referred to as fiat currency.
Oh, and the reserve currency agreed upon by most countries has been the dollar, but that is changing, too, as more countries realize the instability of the dollar.
Man tee your boys make me wish I had kids....that was funny.
