There is a cure for the left/right disability, you know.
Catholicism (and more importantly, attending Catholic school) has discovered the remedy. The Church requires that you do the sign of the cross (In the Name of the Father, Son, Holy Spirit, etc) with the right hand. God, in his infinite wisdom, has determined this is necessary to enter the gates of heaven. The nuns were put on earth to ensure that good Catholic children learned this lesson (by any means necessary).
Even today, lo these many years later (& many years removed from the Churches teachings), I distinguish between left & right by reminding myself what hand I used to do the Sign of the Cross.
