Did the USAF ever find the nuke they mislaid off the Spanish coast 50 years ago?

Yes, it was found about three months later. However, there's another 11 nuclear warheads that we never did find. Add to that total the ones lost by the former USSR, and the number rises to about 50.

Hmmm.... This goes a long way to explaining that third eye growing in the middle of my forehead.
