I don't know what sort of rubbish they teach your kids but this is what we were taught in our fine schools. Never have any trouble "hanging on".
As for Creation............

Seems that this spreading into Canada
http://www.bvcsm.com/
Lugosi replies: Well, I had been planning to flee to Canada but now I'll have to rule that out. Maybe I can slip across the border into Mexico and get a job operating a leaf blower.
And why does their museum look like a house?

"Give us your country hicks, your religious nutters, your intolerant masses longing to be duped"
I will probarbly burn for this, but Eve looks rather foxy.
Lugosi replies: Yeah, but her elbows and that plant are blocking the best parts.

Huh? You mean the Bible is wrong? You'll be telling me next the World is round!
Lugosi replies: The mentality among those who insist on teaching creationism in public schools alongside evolution is the same as that of the people who once insisted the sun revolved around the Earth. That mindset kept western civilization in the dark ages for hundreds of years. And when people like Galileo, Kepler, and Ptolemy dared suggest otherwise, they were oppressed and ridiculed by the church.
That's one good thing to be said about Henry VIII: He helped break the stranglehold the Catholic church had over the people. True, he did that inadvertently only because he wanted a new wife, but it still worked.

I ran into a guy in your country once who said Australia was a great place and he would love to visit and in the next breath said, "It's near Japan, isn't?"
I agreed with him!
Lugosi replies: HAHAHA!!! Some people say the dumbest things!
What most impresses me about Australia is how you people are able to keep from falling off the bottom of the planet. Do you use a lot of suction cups, or do you hold on with magnets?

And what about hobbits and elves ? Did they dwell the earth before or after the dinosaurs ?
Lugosi replies: See my 12/14 post.

Most American kids can't even find the Pacific Ocean on a globe. Tragic.
Also, most don't even know that there is an Oklahoma (prior post) or a Kentucky (other than KFC).
If the creationists are right, then maybe that isn't chicken that KFC is selling.
Lugosi replies: As i recall, there was a rumor a few years back that KFC was raising genetically altered boneless chickens. And there were people that freely believed that stuff.
But in my defense, it sounded plausible at the time.
