I've always like Deck the Halls. It is upbeat and happy. Too many people are stressed about "giving the right gift" or whatever. This is the season to be jolly. Be happy about what Christ has given everyone. In the great scheme of things, these gifts everyone is worried about won't matter.
That said, I do love giving and receiving gifts. All I'm saying is that we worry too much about it.
My favorite is a toss up between the McKenzie Brother's 12 Days of Christmas, I saw mommy kissing Santa Clause and What Child is This.
I'm with David on the gift thing and love 12 days because it mocks the whole idea. Mommy kissing Santa Clause, because... well it's fun to play Santa Clause sometimes. And What Child is This because I like the tune.
How's that for deep and meaningful?
