Gravatar Steve Carrell can be funny at times but in my opinion he is no where near as funny as the likes of Will Farrell or Ben Stiller. This movie just did not look like a great movie to begin with for me. I mean why would God make Steve Carrell look like he was Gandalf from the Lord of the Rings just with out the hat? I get that he was supposed to look like Noah but why did he need to look like that? Don't even get me started about the whole "not ever going to flood the earth again" in the Bible. I know that this movie is not Theology on screen and I don't get my theology or faith from movies but I just couldn't get past my logic on this one.

Gravatar haha. We saw it too. Don't worry too much David...*spoiler if you care* and it's doesn't even cover a whole city!

Angelina did love it, it had some funny spots and if you know a little scripture you catch some of the wit...ie: "Ahhh YOU SCARED ME!" God, "Well its the beginning of wisdom you know..." Stuff like that. I was expecting cheese and cheese it was, but it was happy, cute and fairly entertaining. And I didn't have to worry that my child would be scarred for life AND we had some good things to talk about afterward.
So for family entertainment I'd say it was good. For funniest of all time hillarious -not so much.

Gravatar Ummm... I meant to say, God doesn't cause the flood and it doesn't even cover a whole city. Sorry...can't type.

Gravatar * * * SPOILER ALERT * * *

I was like, why did God bring the animals in from all over the world for a small, local flood? That was just stupid.

Gravatar Bummer it's not better since I really love Steve Carrell. I would have to disagree with David though because I think he's funnier than Will and Ben. Those two have a tendancy to get on my nerves after a bit. BUT, maybe I like Steve so much simply because of the great writing on "the office". ??? Who knows, who really cares?
Either way, thanks for saving me from wasting my money at the theater!

Gravatar I find movies are, for the most part, only bad or disappointing if you go in with your expectations up. So, since I didn't go in expecting Bruce Almighty 2, I found the movie cute and entertaining.

Will it win any awards - uh... definitely not.
Was it a waste of my money and time - absolutely not.
It made me laugh, I wasn't bored with the plot and though there were obvious things like the animals from all over the world and the whole Galdalf get up, it's a movie and not reality, so I'll excuse some of them.

I'd rate it 3 out of 5 doves with olive branches.
