Gravatar I can not vote for a man who has taken as much money as him from the middle east. Syrian Toni Rezko, Iraqi Nadhmi Auchi, millions given to rezko to Auchi, Rezko gives Obama Millions plus a house, Auchi gets an energy bill to pass in the senate, Obama is one of those votes, thats gets him the contract to build a nuclear power plant in Iraq. Funny Auchi's commpany with the contract is a subsiderary of Rezmar Corp., Tony Rezko!!!!!!!

Gravatar The democratic party is not what I thought it was. I feel liberated to leave. They are merely the left version of the republicans and not any better. Good riddance.

Gravatar RQ, Washington.

If they don't want me, they can't have my votes.

Gravatar The Dems left me. I will vote for McCain. 2 4 1

No more! I have a mind and I WILL use it! I will not crawl meekly back to the party that rigged an election for only God know what reason!
NO MORE! NO OBAMA EVER!

Gravatar As a native of Michigan and a former Florida resident during 2000, I am still stunned by all the pure political "Chicago Way" corruption by this party of "change" and hope. This whole election (actually "selection" of BO since spring of 2004 by the Dean Plan) has been nothing short of surreal and breathtaking! The unbelievable "audacity" of them all!
Looking forward to "Independence" led by HRC who will truly represent democracy with a small "d" --
By the way, has Donna Brazile quit the DNC yet? Didn't she promise to do just that if the superdelegates ended up deciding the nominee?!!!

Gravatar NO MORE! NEVER AGAIN! Independent forever!

Gravatar Dem no more!

Gravatar My family has deep roots in the democratic party so for me this is a big move but Dean & Brazil et al have brought this on and apparently revel in the destruction of the democratic party.

Gravatar My husband and I have long been embarrassed to be members of the Democratic Party (the newest version, the Pelosi-Reid non-leadership). The shame of the latest fraud and theft of votes is the last straw.

We will return if Hillary Clinton becomes the Democratic Party nominee. NO WAY NO HOW NOBAMA

Gravatar THE DNC IS CORRAPT! HILLARY WINS OR I AM INDEPENDENT!!

Gravatar Stephanie from California. When I went to vote yesterday I asked for a change of registration form. That will be the last election that I will vote as a Democrat which I've been for the 50 years. I will now vote Independent. In the Nov. election if Hillary is not the nominee I will vote for Cynthia McKinney.

Gravatar Bye Bye Democrats. I am Independent.

Gravatar Independent Voter

Gravatar Obama's good friend of 17 years, the man that donated hundreds of thousands to dollars not only to his campaign but got others to donate too illegally.... has now been found guilty of 16 counts of extortion and corruption. Will he turn states evidence? I know, Obama didn't know anything about his close friend for some 17 years, just like he didn't know what his church was teaching for some 20 years...he lives in a bubble. You picked him and therefore I must now assume you are dishonest crooks too---I will vote for John McCain come November.

Gravatar Mirtha says: I am writing something nice for Senator Hillary Clinton.
This is a NEW VERB for the English
language and for the languages of the world:

To hillary= "To be resilient,
to persevere, to strive against the odds, to not give up, to not give in,
to inspire people to reach a worthy goal that will benefit all"

Example: We will hillary all the way to the convention and on to the White House.

So, here are the conjugations of the verb "to hillary":

I hillary
You hillary
He hillaries
She hillaries
It hillaries
We hillary
You hillary
They hillary

Let's go Independent Party with Senator Hillary Clinton as our candidate!

Gravatar E.C. from Maryland. There are no words to describe what a disgrace and insult this primary election cycle has been to all democrats--even the ones to drunk on the kool-aid to realize what this really means.

Feels good to finally be I-N-D-E-P-E-N-D-E-N-T !!!

Today I searched for info on how to switch your party affiliation in Ohio. Turns out, the only way is ask for a new party ballot during the next primary. How disappointing.

Meanwhile, in the November 4th General Election, I'll be leaving a certain line on my ballot blank -- apparently you can't do write-ins in my precinct. Still checking on that. Doubtful I can find my way to support John McCain, but neither will I support Barack Obama. I don't want to own EITHER of those results. I refuse to be responsible for them.

Sometimes voting your conscience means not voting.

And I can't wait for Obamacrats to give me crap about it. Because I'll tell them that me not taking an Obama or McCain stand will still be 128 fewer times than Obama's no-stand "present" votes in the Illinois Senate. What's good for the goose, I guess.

Gravatar Independent from now on. I cannot support the Democratic Party under any circumstances from this point on.

Gravatar I am a registered democrat and have been for the last 45 years. I am devastated by the candidate that they have praised and gone on and on about. (the msm has been a constant commercial for Obama and I don't know why completely.) He will destroy this country. The way the DNC has been totally for Obama from the start is another reason I will not vote democrat again. The way they have treated Florida and Michigan is an outrage. What kind of a democracy have we become? I am from Florida. The more I read about Barack Obama the more I knew I would never vote for him. I listened to what he said. I saw him lie so many times. In the debates he had the advantage of Hillary answering first most of the time and he and then he would just copy what she said. I am so fed up with him. He is a thug from Chicago. He is used to fast talking corrupt and slick ways of manuevering people. I don't buy his act, now or ever

Gravatar Goodbye to the party of Brazile, Dean, Kerry, McClurkin and, of course, the Obamas. I've voted Democratic in every election since 1988, but no more. Instead of being an "ex-gay" like Obama's friend Donnie McClurkin, I'll be an ex-Democrat!

Gravatar Ohio

Gravatar Lost 3 generation democratic family in nc . Democrats no more. vote Mccain!

Gravatar The Democratic Party has shown itself guilty of sexism, elitism, ageism and race-baiting, as well as total disrespect for a leader for the ages. They can kiss my ---. I'll have no trouble voting for a war hero who put his men ahead of himself as opposed to a man whose friend stomps on our flag.

Gravatar What happened to fair reflection and counting every vote?

Gravatar Christy - Florda

Since I am a woman and I am from Florida, does that mean I am a quarter of a person???

Gravatar Mercifully, I have always liked McCain. I really always thought I was a Democrat. Now that I have paid better attention to what the Democratic Party is, I deeply regret ever having made that identification. I look at the Democratic track record for the last 8 years and wish them further failure.

Gravatar I'm now "Non-Partisan" in CA. Will vote for McCain if he chooses an acceptable VP, but if not will vote for Cynthia McKinney, Green Party for President. The Democratic Party left me, I did not leave it!

Gravatar Dissociating from the Democratic Party makes me feel sad and free all at the same time.

Gravatar so long, good-bye!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gravatar I came into the Dem Party with the Clintons and I will leave the Dem Party the same way. I will vote against Obama in November.

Gravatar Life-long Democrat just turned Republican. BO and the DNC stole the election for him! Misogyny, corruption, the use of racist tactics, and a fixed election. I will not vote even down-ticket Democrats!

Gravatar This has been a hard step for me as a 40 year Democrat. But I have to support democracy, big D, and I am appalled at the DNC's undemocratic behavior.

Gravatar Hello!!

Gravatar I am no longer a member of the Crooked, Vote Stealing Democratic Party. I am now a "Hillary Supporter For John McCain". I wouldn't vote for Obama if he was the only person on the ballot for President. I would skip that catagory and vote a straight Republican ballot from top to bottom.

If Hillary is on the ballot as VP then I will vote for John McCain for President, Hillary for VP and then a straight Republican ballot to hand the DNC the biggest loss of their history! Come and join us at our web site also and let's all let the DNC know that they can not control our votes the way they did. They need to be in jail with Obama's 20 friend Tony Rezko! Gravatar This was a thrown election.

There was a hatchet job on 2 states.

She won the majority of votes. DNC over-rode the voters and selected their own choice.

Delegates were intimidated or bribed. (Edwards got a windfall in his charity bank accounts for his early endorsement)

Right wing cable news, like CNN were trying to throw elections. The day of the SD election, they announced Clinton was conceding that night. They then corrected this but said Clinton was trying to be his vice president.

The worst for me was how the key progressive blogs were hijacked. The proprietors were paid off by Obama insiders to let operatives hate monger against Clinton.
Clinton supporters were thrown out, or harassed with profanity until they left.

This gave the media the impression that "the blogosphere was uniformly for Obama" it also brainwashed the young people that Clinton was evil. Because they did not have a chance to read otherwise.

The election was stolen, and there is no healing process.

The democratic party is corrupt, I am going independent.

Gravatar I have been a Reagan Democrat for many years. I never toed anyone's line. I voted by the candidate. For the first time in my life, I became a Democrat, losing the black sheep title my family gave me to vote for Hillary.

I remember the total look of shock when I told my Dad I voted for Reagan. My dad is gone and buried now in a veterans cemetary in MA. I know he would be proud of me today. He taught me that a person had to earn my vote through respect. The "annointed one" has done nothing to earn my respect.

By weeks end I will no longer be affiliated with any party. In Kansas, we have three choices....I am choosing unaffiliated. The Democrats say they don't need this bitter, gun and Bible clinging "old broad".

Did I mention I even live on a dirt road and live on 4 acres? Did I mention I know how to can my own fruits and vegetables? I sew, I quilt and I paint. I have gone back to the basics of life. I embrace my farming ancestry if you will.

Well the Democratic Party has become the party of disunity. And I will not toe their line because I think they have smeared that line, that boundary if you will an offrered us an "empty suit".

To the DNC and the Democratic Party, adios! Enjoy your party now for me it is over and I believe in my heart it is over for you!

Gravatar As a Florida voter having to listen for 8 years to every bad voting joke, having to listen for 8 years as our party leaders cried about the sanctity on 'counting every vote' but in the end being told by that same said party that they have determined that they will count my vote but only 1/2 this 'Liberal" democrat swears under oath to never call myself a democrat nor be a member of a party who tells me they don't need me.

Gravatar Thankfully here in Ohio, she has received fabulous support.

Still trying to decide about McCain in November. It will depend on his VP choice. Otherwise, I will leave the top spot blank. And I will carefully look at everyone on the ballot from this point forward to see who and what they supported in this election cycle. These people need to be GONE in four years!

Gravatar Thankfully here in Ohio, she has received fabulous support.

Hillary 2012

Gravatar Albert in Florida-
When John Kerry threw in the towel without challenging the Ohio vote in 2004, I threw in the towel on the Democratic Party, but kept my registration for local primary reasons.
After the 2006 election, I continued to be astounded at the tone-deaf ineptitude of Pelosi and Reid ("impeachment is off the table").
This year I liked John Edwards and voted for him in the Florida primary. The day before the primary I received an e-mail from Edwards promising to stay in the race until the end (and asking for more money). The very next day, he quit.
I tried to understand what Obama was about. I saw nothing there, a focus group litany of liberal mantras with no specifics for a website, and the fuzzy rhetoric left me scratching my head. Everything I read about the guy screamed "BEWARE".
Everytime I heard Hillary speak, I liked what she said. The Clintons were the best thing to happen for the Democratic Party since FDR and yet the "party leaders" were willing to stab them in the back for an unproven con artist who never won a real election or did anything of note.
It is astounding to me how the Democrats are able to wrest defeat out of the jaws of victory time after time.
This is one lifelong registered Democrat that will not vote for Obama - I know too much about him and do not like what I see- I will probably vote for Cynthia McKinney on the Green ticket in November if she is on my ballot.
(One exception- if Obama calls for a serious investigation into the crimes of the present administration, he will get my vote).
A McCain victory in November will be the best thing to happen for the Democratic Party, especially if they control both Houses with a stronger majority. Think about it.
Call it spite, call it racism, it doesn't matter. This voter cannot reward with his vote the type of behavior exhibited by the Obama campaign and the DNC this primary season this time around.

Gravatar My husband & I are re-registering as indepedents. Gravatar Count me as an Independent now !!

Gravatar After being a Democrat my entire life, I switched to the Libertarian party last week. I will be voting for McCain in November because I feel very strongly that Obama is wrong for this country.

Gravatar The Democratic Party is gone once the RBC usurped its will over the voters of MI. stealing the will of the people is worse than what the Supreme Court had done in 2000 and I will work tirelessly to defeat obama, this cannot stand or we will no longer recognize what our country is.

Gravatar Country above party always.
I will gladly vote for McCain in November. I have re-registered as a Republican. No Obama, not now, not ever. Democrat of 40 years.

Gravatar I have voted Democratic since the 80's. I will not vote for Obama, who was shoved down our throats and millions in FL and MI were disenfranchised. I will now register as an Independent. Obama is unqualified to be President and I will vote for Nader.

Gravatar No longer a registered Democrat. You selected the nominee not based on the best and strongest. You just proved what my dad has always said - both parties are the same. They really don't care about the people.

Gravatar Angel, PA

Gravatar I am a Hillocrat! This 'new' dem party of dean, brazile, et al is too fascist. I am OUT!

Gravatar No longer a registered Democrat.

Gravatar I am so done with them!

Gravatar Sarah - PA

Gravatar I cannot belong to a party that has rigged this primary by not counting votes, stolen votes from Senator Clinton and rewarded her oponent with them. And, when he still did not have enought pledged delegates, the super delegates went against the will of the people and gave him the nomination! I am also appalled at the disrespecful, sexist treatment of Senator Clinton that they allowed and participated in. especially by their silence. The party is no longer democratic and I am no longer a member.

Gravatar "Democratic" party? Yeah right! I'm from Michigan and F the democratic party, it has gone straight to he*l!

Gravatar Lisa, North Carolina. Already changed my registration to Independent.

Gravatar As of today I am no longer a democrat.

Gravatar Kael, the 'half person' from Florida. I am now Independent from the Democratic party as I have changed my voters registration this week. We were sold out by backroom deals, yet the DNC wanted to avoid that at the committe. So, I guess they just did multiple small ones with superdelegates and got them out of the way.

Gravatar Atlanta, Georgia

Gravatar I am already a registered Indy, but my sister is tearing up her Dem card on June 10th, the anniversary of the day women in disenfranchised Michigan earned the right to vote at the beginning of the 20th century. There is a group movement to do it en masse that day. My mother will also never vote for Obama. This goes way beyond Hillary. As incompetent as the Dems have been over the years, I thought it was just dysfunction--that their hearts were in the right place. Now, and I personally witnessed on live TV 5/31/08, they are just as corrupt as the Republican Party has been. If you truly honor the principles upon which this country was built, you cannot passively join the herd and accept their decision. It's a travesty and I will actively oppose it.

Gravatar Jeff - Florida

Gravatar Buh Bye Democrats.

Thanks for shoving that fraud down our throats...no thanks!

Gravatar It's not the Fourth of July but it is INDEPENDECE DAY for me.

I am not leaving the party, it has left me.

Gravatar "Unaffiliated"
Will be voting for Beatty for Senate. I have no idea who he is or what he stands for, but he isn't John Kerry

Gravatar Goodbye Democrat party, sick of the losers you select

Gravatar Atlanta, GA - John McCain, my wallet is now open for you.

Gravatar Florida

I have already filled out a voter's registration card to change to independent and will mail it when Hillary concedes.

Gravatar I am in a state where we don't regiser party affil, but I'm no longer a Democrat.

This election showed me that Democrats are NO BETTER than Republicans. I knew this somewhat all along, but now it's ingrained into my soul. If just 5% of us feel this way, the goofball the DNC members nominated will lose and maybe I can come back into the fold. For now, it's TA-TA Democrats.

Gravatar Mimi, New Mexico

Gravatar After being lifetime Democrats, both my mother and myself are leaving. The party is not what it was years ago when we felt proud to be a Democrat. I know, I know, you could care less, because you have all those 'new' young Obama supporters. Well good luck to the bunch of you. Your backroom politics, and treatment of Hillary Clinton are despicable. Your giving and taking away of delegates is a childs game.. and denotes nothing but your own system of giving out stars on a chart for good deeds and punishments. Giving caucaus states more delegates than you give a state that actually holds a primary and has 100's of thousands more people involved is unfair. Goodbye...! I will be writing Hillary's name on my Independent ballot in November.

Gravatar I have been an Independent since 1992. I registered as a Democratic to vote for Hillary. The day after the NE Primary, I registered as an Independent. That is where I will stay until Hillary or another qualified Democrat runs for office. But, they will have to earn my vote, confidence and respect. The DNC will never have that again unless the whole system changes and reflects the fairness it supposedly stood for and proved it did not this primary season.

Suggestion: Want to really make an impact? Want to get your sentiment out there? (1) Go to www.loudobbs.com and tell him you are a former democrat and, if switched to Independent but definately that you will not vote for the "presumptive" nominee. Keep it short and to the point. (2) Vote McCain in all polls you can find.

Let them see up front and NOW that we are mad as hell and are not going to take it anymore.

Gravatar i'm thinking about if Donna Brazile will keep her word and resign from the democratic party. as she said she would way back when hillary had the lead in delegates and barky was supposed to take the pouplar vote.she didn't want a bunch of folks in a smoky room brokering delegates in Hillary's behalf.

my my....i'm waiting Donna.....

also, i'm voting Sen McCain even if he has the devil himself as a running mate. this is a non negotiable act of civil disobedience against the vastly corrupt and oligarch manipulated DNC.

with all due respect to Sen Clinton, and whatever they have threatened you with to get you out of the race and in support of barky, unless you are on the TOP of any ticket, the dems will NEVER have my vote.

'nuff said.

Gravatar jeff sloan tennessee

Gravatar Like Donna Brazile said to an unhappy Dem voter: "That train has left"! "Go catch it"!
The Dems need not show me the door!
I found it myself!
Bye Bye DNC.
I'm a McCainocrat now!

Gravatar If a party that is against Racism can nominate an Inexperienced, Black Racist who was ashamed to wear a flag on his lapel for the President it deserves to lose big!!! Good bye DNC

Gravatar I'm done as a Dem after a lifetime in this party. I never thought it would come to this, but I can't in good cosncience vote for Obama.

Gravatar No Obama ever, and never a vote for anyone who supported him early. I have 12 votes in my house and they are no longer Democrats. Don't bother asking for our votes, we are already committed to No Obama ever.

Gravatar I can not and will not vote for such a morally corrupt person. I will not vote even if Hillary is on the ticket. I think she should distance herself from him and do not back!!

Gravatar Count me out! I cannot abide what the DNC has done to Democrats, the nation and most of how to Hillary.
I'm Hillarying my way outta the Dem party. Enjoying my freedom, mourning the loss of her great potential as the leader of this once-great country and will be voting McCain come November.
Former lifelong Dem,

Gravatar I will not conform, or change my mind. I already changed my affiliation yesterday. I am a proud ex Democrat now. I will never vote for Obama, not now, never. I will vote for McCain in 08.
I AM FREE!

Gravatar I had been thinking about registering as an Independent for about a year now, but I was dragging my feet because I still felt attached to the Democratic Party. But after watching the DNC meeting last Saturday and taking into consideration everything that has transpired the last few months, it was an easy move to make. I was just waiting for the right time. The day Barry announced that he was the presumptive nominee, I took the plunge. There's no looking back.

Gravatar I have been a registered Independent since 1992. I switched to Democrat in order to cast my vote for Hillary in the NE caucus (what a joke...)and primary. I have many thoughts and opinions about this primary season and on the presumptive nominee but being a senior citizens that is still escaping "senility" I know that you already know those thoughts as they are the same as those posted here. I cast my first vote for JFK....a proud day indeed. However, as an Independent, in this state, Indies can vote cross ticket if they wish except in primaries and caususes.

The day after the primary, I registered back to Independent. (All the same reason reveled before).

Suggestion: Really want to make an impact and get your sentiments out there for the world to see?
(1) Let Lou Dobbs (www.loudobbs.com) know how you feel and that you are either not voting for BHO, going Independent or voting for McCain or whomever. Keep it short and to the point. Lou will put it on the air as he is disgusted also and an Independent. He was fair to Hillary.

(2) Vote for McCain or whomever you can and want to vote for on the polls on every website you can find. When the Repub % goes up and the Dem % goes down......they will know.....we are mad as hell and are not going to take it anymore!

GrameeA

Gravatar I changed my affiliation, I am an ex Democrat. I will not conform or change my mind. I will never vote for Obama. Why should I be in a party full of radicals, racists, sexists and cheaters.....I am free!

Gravatar I am a first time voter and was a long time democrat (since I came to US in 91) now I am no longer one. I have seen enough upclose of how diry politics is played in Texas to get more delegates for Obama at caucuses. enough is enough. I will support Hillary only if she runs Independent.

Gravatar Sadly cut up my Democratic Voter resigtration card and sent it to Howard Dean as I will no longer be needing it.

Gravatar Still a liberal, but a Dem no more DNC finished me off last weekend.

Gravatar I will not support the extreme left wing of the party.

Hillary was a moderate and someone who worked with both sides to make change happen. BHO has a record of nothing.

Gravatar I will not support the extreme left wing of the party.

Gravatar Arkanas

Gravatar I'm not ready to make nice! I want my democratic Democratic Party back.

Gravatar Please enroll me to the efforts to show the difference of 18M voters. As a former democrat, I refuse to unify with a false unity and the former called "Democratic" Party. This is time for change and nobody and no corporate influence should dictate the will of the people.

John McCain may be the difference we are looking for, I am serious !

Gravatar mass.

no obama ever the dem party died may 31st.

Gravatar Destroying democracy with the Democratic Party loses you me and my spouse's votes, money and work.

Thanks for all the good fights before now (although they were more flawed in some ways than I realized before now, too.)

Gravatar I sent my card back to the DNC yesterday.

Never have I witnessed such chicanery, tomfoolery, thuggism, skullduggery, and buffoonery, did I cover everything?

Gravatar What would happen if we all wrote Hillary 's name on our ballots in November? Could it actually be possible that she could still be elected President?????

Gravatar please add my name to the list...WCA from Texas. Been a voting democrat since I came of age in 1978. I formally withdraw my membership for 2 reasons. 1. Fascists have taken over the party built by FDR. 2. These Fascists are corrupt and irrational.

Gravatar Dori - Indiana.

Hillary or McCain '08

Gravatar Buh bye Democrats. Try not to breath too hard or the house of cards will blow over.

I left May 31st and for the first time in my adult life, I feel pretty damn good.

Gravatar Denver, Colorado

Gravatar This election has been hijacked by the elitists from both the Democratic and Republican parties, in great measure with the outrageous and biased support from the pundit class and mass media. I am outraged at the misogyny, race-baiting, and crude railroading that Hillary Clinton and her supporters have received. For the first time in my adult life I am completely disgusted with the Democratic party and with elitist politics. They do not represent my values. They do not represent the hard working people that form the backbone and infrastructure of this country. I am an older Latina that is saying "Enough!"

Gravatar Barack Obama is a racist (20 year association with extremely racist church), corrupt politician (long time and close association with just-convicted Tony Rezko), dishonest (supported his campaign's vicious and underhanded attacks against Hillary Clinton, while claiming to have nothing to do with it). He has no substantial record of achievement in public affairs. He was against counting the primary votes of Florida (because Hillary Clinton won the state). How on earth can he claim to be fit to be President! How can the Democratic party select him! How can I belong to such a party!

Gravatar I will not vote for Obama, not even if Hillary is on the ticket with as VP. I will be patience and support her again in 2012.

I will vote Republican come this November. I am set on this and hope that those who feel the same now, sustain their stance and get McCain in so that Hillary gets her second chance. The party better not mess it up that time around.

Gravatar Obama is not qualified for POTUS.
DNC is so corrupt.

Gravatar I'm out. A 50 yr old diehard, straight-ticket party-voting Democrat, and I'm done. I will not allow my name on the rolls of a party that has treated Senator Clinton with such disdain; treated ALL women with disdain; rigged and gamed an election to put the MOST unqualified person at the top of the list; diminished the working class base; engaged in race-baiting in general, and specifically against a two-term Dem. president; and who blatantly engaged in vote and delgate stealing. I never though I would leave the Democratic Party - and I think it actually left me. I cannot be a part of an organization that has acted so immorally, so unethically, and in such a prejudical manner toward women. My almost 78 yr old mother is leaving, too...

In case I was not clear, I will NEVER, EVER vote for Obama. I will be writing in Clinton's name, or leaving it blank (if my state, SC, does not permit write-ins).

Can I come to this party? I promise to be a well-informed member who actualy CARES what the candidates say and DO!

Gravatar The Kafkaesque treatment Hil's campaign was subjected to this past Saturday, at the RBC hearing in DC, was the VERY LAST STRAW. I know what it looks like when the, "Fix is in".

It's time to get off the sinking DNC ship.

Gravatar Trey Texas

Gravatar 46 years a voting Democrat.

A Democrat no more!

Never have quoted Reagan re anything, but today this is appropos:

"I didn't leave the Democratic party, The Democratic Party left me."

Amen!

Gravatar i AM TIRED OF THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY CONSISTENTLY DOING THE WRONG THING. I REFUSE TO REWARD THEM WITH MY VOTE !

Gravatar Mimi, New Mexico

Gravatar Just printed my PUMA (party unity my ass) sign for the car window, I resigned after Saturday's RBC debacle.

Gravatar I am tired of being called a racist because I do not support an unqualified candidate named obama.

Democratic party--you have lost me, my funds, and my valuable time.

Good bye, and good riddance.

Gravatar Arkansas
Glad my lifelong Democrat parents did not live to see this primary. My own disillusionment is painful enough! I cannot support Obama no matter who is on the ticket with him. He is a liar of record (about Rezko in early debate), a total opportunistic politician (200 + "present" votes), evidently has POWERFUL backing from behind the scenes, and many other reasons too numerous to list here. And I am now free from a political party which has allowed its DNC to behave in such a shameful, undemocratic manner.

Gravatar California

Gravatar Hillary Clinton won the popular vote plus Fla. and Michigan. Hillary won the primary and I for one am no longer a Democrat.

Gravatar Just cannot stomach Obama's wife or hisa fromer preacher calling us that WHITE label. Voting RON PAUL. Write in.

Gravatar Independant time for my wife and I.

Gravatar I am now an Independent The shame I felt from being associated with the Democrats will now be gone.

I am Sonia from the State of Florida, a Hillary Clinton Supporter who will vote for her or McCain in the general election but NEVER NEVER FOR THEIR CHOSEN ONE.
THEY CHEATED AND ROBBED HILLARY AND IT NEEDS TO GO DOWN IN HISTORY.
18 MILLION PEOPLE SAID NO TO OBAMA.

Hillary do not take his VP offer PLEASE.
I WILL STILL VOTE FOR MCCAIN EVEN IF YOU DO.

Gravatar NO VOTE EVER FOR THE DEM SELECTION OF FRAUD, LIES, LIES AND MORE LIES. A SECURITY RISK TO THIS NATION.

Gravatar Even slaves were counted as 3/5 of a vote in times past.

Gravatar Years from now there will be a made-for-TV movie about THIS election, over which we will tsk tsk and wonder how it was allowed to happen in our country... They think we will all come back into the fold? There has never been an election stolen like this before. We're not coming back, Dean. You sunk your own ship.

Gravatar Oops, I forgot to say I am Anne in Nevada.

Gravatar Sayonara, DNC. You're an embarrassment to all who have come before you.

Gravatar Democrats are pathetic. Goodbye from San Francisco.

Gravatar Timothy, New York

Gravatar I AM DONE AFTER 20 YEARS AND SO IS MY HUSBAND AND DAUGHTER

OBAMA WAS SELECTED NOT ELECTED

Gravatar Vindicta! Democrat Party, goodbye from NYC. Timothy in NYC

Definitely voting Republican at this point. Nancy Pelosi and her uppity self alone is enough to make me jump ship. No way Obama will ever get a vote from any of the women in my family.

Gravatar I will not vote for obama. I will not stand for this. The dnc has disenfranchised us and handed the nomination to a candidate who is unelectable anyway. Yes, Goodbye dnc!

Gravatar From Virginia

If only more Republicans had said "I won't vote for an inexperienced, corporate shill who has no respect for my party's values". I won't be making that mistake. Neither will any voter in my family.

Gravatar I will never vote democrat again I have changed to independent he is pandering to all kinds of people all he is going to do he is full of it.

Gravatar Indiana

Gravatar HELLO, INDEPENDENTS!! GOOD BY,CORRUPT DNC, AND DEMOCRATIC?? PARTY!!

Gravatar John McCain here I come. This demi will not come home to a house that is falling down. You really did it this time. You took us for granted and you should have never done that.
We will not be invisable next November when we come out in DROVES to vote Republican.

Gravatar I'm outa here!!!!

Bloomer/IOWA

Gravatar No Hillary, no vote for a democrat from me. McCain in '08. What a bad dream this has been.

Gravatar This democrat will work hard to remove the traitors from the DNC. As in Dean, Pelosi, Reid, Kerry, Richardson, Brazile, et al.

Gravatar PUMA! Party Unity My Ass. This feminist is out and gone. If you think for one second I will work on the "cause" this time you can think again. I was a good little liberal democrat till you took this process back to the stone age and sat silent for wrongs I can not fathom. When you chose to push one candidate over the other by bending rules when it suited his favor but, cry "rulz!" when it didn't suit.

Give me a break. I'm gone dems gone and I know Brazile doesn't care but, by November she will. Apparently Dean can't pick a winner at all. You want us to get behind an empty suit, a man who sat silent while "riots" were threatened if things didn't go well for him.

You call that hopeful? You can keep the change. I'm walking and I'm a life long democrat, a feminist and I won't be back for your little causes anymore. You weren't there for mine. In fact you used hatred against my gender for your candidate of choice's gain and NOW?? You want to say it's not okay?

I find you repugnant, vile and Un American.

Gravatar My hubby and me.

Gravatar Left the Democrat Party today. I am FREE! Non-party affiliated and loving every minute of it.

Gravatar I'm a proud member of the PUMA pac.

PUMA = Party-Unit-My-ASS.

http://blog.pumapac.org/

I'm free from the tyranny of DNC.

Gravatar Independence feels good, especially after you refuse to fall in line. Hillary '08 (I)

Gravatar Sen. Hillary Clinton's own "democratic party" stabbed her in the back. They didn't want her as the nominee from day one, and hijacked the votes in Florida and Michigan. I NO LONGER SUPPORT THE DNC AND MOST DEFINITELY NOT VOTING FOR OBAMA. HE'S A THUG FROM CHICAGO (and living in Chicago, it "politics as usual.) HE'S GOT A LOT OF BAGGAGE AND YET THE MEDIA HAS ANNOINTED THIS EMPTY SHIRT.

IM VOTING FOR MCCAIN IN NOVEMBER. GOOD BYE HOWARD DEAN, DONNA BRAZILE, NANCY PELOSI, HARRY REID, AND THEIR ILK.

Gravatar Add this 59 year former lifelong Black democrat(small d)to the growing list that is literally running away from this hot mess of a party. If it includes the likes of brazile, kennedy, carter, pelosi, dean dodd, kerry, dawson, fowler and all the others of the same ilk, then I am leaving to NEVER come back unless my Hillary heads the ticket.Until then...Holla..Bill in Dallas

Gravatar Yesterday I formally un-enrolled as a Democrat; a sad but necessary step. My Democratic Party left me, and not in a nice way either. Stealing votes, disenfranchment, and vile sexist attacks on a woman; my mother and my father taught me better than that.

Gravatar I became a US citizen to vote for Bill Clinton and was proud to do so.

I was a loyal D and voted D all the way in primaries and GE's. I worked my ass off volunteering for local, state and federal D candidates. I gave the maximum $$ to candidates for years.

What a waste of my time and $$.

The party left me in November 2006 when Pelosi took impeachment "off the table."

Shortly after that I resigned my position as Precinct chair, stopped all donations and volunteering.

I'm done.

Right now I don't see how I could vote for BO and I won't vote McC. It's a hard decision but I may stay home -- or write in HRC's name. I don't know yet.

Gravatar In 1976 I first registered to vote -- as an Independent. Two years later in 1978, I changed my registration to Democrat. I have always voted for the Democratic Presidential candidate. Thirty years later, I will go back to being a registered Independent, BUT I will not be voting for a Democratic Presidential candidate this year UNLESS it is the candidate with the true qualifications and genuine leadership skills -- Senator Clinton.

Gravatar Texas

Gravatar Jessica, NY/AZ.

Gravatar I cried when the election was stolen from Gore..and I cried Tuesday when the super delegates over rode the voters by declaring Obama the candidate. Didn't Donna Brazile say that if super delegates decided the primary she would leave the party?
Bye Bye! What a crock!

Gravatar Wendy, Florida

I have been a lifelong democrat and very active in the local party when I lived in Colorado (was a Dean delegate back in 04) but I am now registered Independent. It is shameful the way the DNC treated honest and legitimate voters.

I am still hoping for a way to elect Hillary Clinton as the next President of the USA, so either the Dems wise up by Denver or she runs as an Independent.

If not, I will be voting Green.

Gravatar Marilyn, Idaho

Gravatar Em; Idaho

Gravatar When a party backs a man who stands for nothing, who has no loyalty or character, then the party itself stands for nothing. With all do respect to the remarkable Senator Clinton, wild horses couldn't drag me to the booth to vote for this fraud and coward named Obama.

Gravatar Cristina, Texas
See Yah!

Gravatar I will never vote for any Republican, but I cannot in good conscience vote for that lying, crooked, homophobic, misogynistic fraud Obama. I don't want to stay home, so I guess I'll be voting for Cynthia McKinney. I weep for my former party and what it has become.

Gravatar Last Saturday, I watched the spectacle of an African American man submit a motion to allow, human beings, in a democracy, in the year 2008, one half of a vote, whilst lecturing Harold Ickes on Civil rights. I watched Donna Brazile scold the eloquent former Governor of Michigan for "cheatin" and "disenfranchising" invisible voters who may, or may not have voted for Senator Obama. I watched as Senator Levin tried to explain that a candidate, who voluntarily took his name from the ballot, should be awarded delegates based on "exit polls" and unopened write-in votes that may, or may not have been for said candidate! I will never, ever, vote for a republican and I don't know if Cynthia McKinney will be on the ballot in my state, but if she is, I will vote for her.

Gravatar I am as angry as I can be re:the RULZ, the MI and FL half-votes, the misogyny, the race-baiting, the lies, the rhetoric, the lack of experience, the divisiveness, and the underhanded, sleazy, and mean spirited O-bots.
Oh and did I say race-baiting???

Gravatar I registered Democrate in 1980 and have voted Democrate ever since. No LONGER!!! I changed my party affiliation to Independent after the undemocratic actions of the DNC. I will be voting for John McCain and doing everything I can to get this Patriot elected.

Gravatar I'm out for good. Life long democrat. My entire family are out and my grandparents were dems too. And no *sweetie* I'm not coming back. Ever. You can't do the right thing, you let a candidate ride in on a blood bath of sexism and sat silent. I am standing up. I bet Brazile is really happy now. Good luck in November.

and stop pressuring Hillary to give up her delegates she has EVERY RIGHT to take this to Denver!! You have zero morals or credibility with me due to the disgusting antics I've seen go on here. I never saw a bunch of people as sorry as this in my entire life.

You don't stand for democracy any longer so what's to stick with. I've joined PUMA. I will not "unify" with people who have rigged this from day one in favor of one candidate over the other. Emily at the "list" you are wrong. I'm not going through any "five stages" of grief. I'm livid and this time I'm not going to be a good little girl liberal and get in line.

I feel so much cleaner now that I'm out of the cesspool of the democratic party! They haven't picked a winner in years and never do seem to mind. Obama will lose the G.E. and I'm going to help.

Gravatar I started off as an "anyone but Hillary" person, but I grew to see just how amazing she is. Obama, Dean, Brazile & the whole DNC can kiss my ass.

Gravatar The DNC tried its very damndest to push good Democrats like me out of the party.

Well, Mission Accomplished.

Gravatar Goodbye!!

Gravatar No more, how can I support a party whose leaders were determined that the most experienced, most capable candidate should step aside for a smooth talking newbie? As more states and more votes went to Clinton, the more Superdelagates went for Obama. Doesn't make sense unless the party leaders had decided from the start that the wanted Obama to win. Even Obama was on record showing he was not ready to be President.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4...h? v=4gexyfVpFMU

Gravatar I'm tired of being called a racist and Republican because I see through Obama's empty rhetoric and I recognize his complete lack of qualifications. I'm appalled by the rabid hatred of his supporters for Hillary and her supporters. And I'm disgusted by the Dean, Pelosi and Brazile; their actions and inactions this primary have been unforgivable. I won't be associated with these kind of people. I thought Democrats stood for decency and integrity. I was wrong.

Gravatar At age 21 I voted for the 1st time and offered up my innocence to the Democrats and ever since I've been repaid with scorn. I'll look now to the GOP for salvation, I just hope they won't give me a lethal dose of it.

Gravatar Virginia
New York

Democratic? I don't think so. I'm done. Gone. Kaput. The RBC in particular should be ashamed. What a show. What a spectacle. What a sham.

Gravatar when i voted for the first time at age 21 I offered up my innocence to the Democrats and ever since (except for a few short yrs from 1992 to 2000) I've been repaid with scorn. Now I'll look to the GOP for salvation, and just hope they won't give me a lethal dose of it, but some shelter from the storm.

Gravatar Democratic? I think not. I'm done.

Gravatar I am a lifelong Florida Democrat who has never voted Republican, but I am changing my affiliation to Independent and will vote for McCain in 2008. Hillary 2012!

Gravatar Betty Minnesota

Gravatar I cut my teeth as a young teen (Iknow I am old) working for JFK. I continued working for the Democratic Party and it's candidates until the day they took the uncommitted delegates in Michigan and gave them to Obama and then took away 4 more delegates from Senator Clinton's total. That action was the straw that broke the camels back for me. Women have been the backbone of the work in this party and I think the party needs to see them put up their feet and stay home beginning this election cycle. I hope every woman and man who supported Hillary will say - I am not working for you anymore, I am not sending you money anymore, I am done.
I got my first experience with that today when the DSCC called today. It felt good.

Gravatar You should have looked out for us Howard. You're supposed to be neutral. Your job is to promote democracy and fairness-- not your "Dean's dozen" candidate who can't burp without a teleprompter. Did you bother investigating his background for even five minutes?
Looks to me like you WANT the GOP to win. Maybe you're bitter about 2004.
All of you on the DNC should be very very ashamed.

S'long
Leia, Pennsylvania

Gravatar Two days ago I changed my voter registration from Democratic Party (for my whole adult life, equalling 28 years) to "belongs to no party", a choice here in Oregon. I never once in those years would have ever thought it possible that I would leave the Democratic Party. But, really, I haven't. IT LEFT ME. I will never forgive the current Democratic Party power elites and DNC members for their undemocratic, unfair, tactics. Not counting votes is abhorrent and unacceptable. Fixing the nomination is reprehensible and unacceptable.

Gravatar Done, the Republic has fallen.

Gravatar I'm no longer a Democrat. I've even started watching Fox News. Is this the Twilight Zone. The Obama folks have caused this Democrat to see the light.

I'm Clint and I'm in Tennessee. This state went for Hillary and so did I. This state will go for McCain and so will my entire family!

Thanks for letting us vent here. I feel better already! I'm ordering my McCain bumper sticker right now. Talked to some other people today at work...They all agreed with me!

Gravatar The DeMOCKratic party left me when they defied the will of Democrats and denied them the right to participate in the free and fair election of their nominee - And crowned their chosen one.

Gravatar They shat all over Hillary so much that it became personal. Just over a year ago I began to see the ugly side of so called progressives. I began to watch closely and witnessed while it grew into crazed hatred. The democratic party stood by silently while obama, his thug supporters and the media absolutely tore apart a workhorse icon of the democratic party. It was a disgusting spectacle to watch. I must say, I've begun to understand how the republicans see us. I am now in awe of Senator Clinton. How she has withstood the "witch burning" and ugliest side of human nature leaves me speechless. She has become my hero. And the democrat party is now pathetic.

Gravatar Julie, Washington, DC, by way of Missouri

The Democrats don't care about me, they don't share my values, and they don't represent me. Their cowardice and sheep-like mentality shows that they are unfit to lead the country. Obama's not nearly as bad as the party is, although he's plenty to blame.

And for those who cite the supreme court as a reason to vote dem...You know what we don't need on the court? A bunch of radical leftist academics who've never worked a day in their lives except as Supreme Court clerks and scholars. Those types could care less how their legislating from the bench affects the lives of everyday people as long as they can propound their precious ideas. I'm talking about Obama's friends from Harvard Law school who are probably top of his list. I'll take a principled conservative over that any day.

Gravatar What the Republicans did to us in 2000, our own party has done to us in 2008.

Gravatar Illinois. DNC, you are despicable, elitist, arrogant, scum - just like your annointed one. You just lost another one! Buh bye.

Gravatar Richard
California

Gravatar michelle, NC.

Leaving the Democratic party and planning on voting for McCain.

Gravatar Enough is enough. The DNC and moveon.org solicit money, supposedly to help all the democratic candidates and then make a gift of the most important nomination to the man who did not receive the popular vote. Then they tell us it's the delegates, not the votes that count. This used to be a democracy-not anymore. I switched to an independent today.

Gravatar done. betrayed. railroaded. boys club. media disgrace. this life long democrat, hillarycrat, is voting for mccain to ensure an obama loss. the best and the brightest has been decimated.
we are forming a coalition on facebook. the name of the group is PUMA.........it's not just for sneakers anymore. PUMA stands for PARTY UNITY MY ASS!
come join us, as we will be gaining notoriety to call attention to the millions of hillary voters who will not support obama.

Gravatar DeAnna & Kevin- SD
Going Indepedent. FRRRREEEEEEEDDDDDOOMMMMM!!

Gravatar The formerly "Democratic" party needs to change its name. There is nothing democratic about stealing votes from one candidate and giving them to another. It is liberating to be done with Howard Dean and this mess of a party.

Gravatar This really saddens me, but I cannot in good conscience vote for someone who the people did not choose. Hillary Clinton has more votes, where is democracy?

Gravatar I feel free -- now an independent -- fits my nature better anyway. Goodbye Dems

Gravatar add me to your list too. Jennie FLORIDA. now a McCain liberal

Gravatar Susan
Crystal, MN

I could never vote for Obama under any circumstances and am leaving this party that no longer reflects my morals and values. The DNC is taking their party in a direction that I don't want to go. Plus they are as naive as their preferred nominee if they think that a majority of Clinton Dems will come over to Obama after a cooling off period. Dumba--es! I'm no longer a donkey.

Gravatar Ohio - Bill Clinton brought me into the party because he understood my life. However, the dems have been wimps and never stood up against the repubs. These power-hungry leaders only care about themselves. BO is worse than an empty suit -- he's danerous. I'll vote McCain to swing Ohio away from the
dems.

Gravatar Leaving the UnDemocratic Party. Just registered as an Independent. I realized months ago the DP didn't represent me, or want me, or my work, or my vote. DNC, Dean, Brazile all told us to stay home. So that's what I'll do in November.

Gravatar Ann Coulter got it right "Selected not Elected".

As a democratic I will no longer support this party, I can not vote for someone that does represent my morals or values. Such a sad day. I am now a Hillary supporter voting for McCain and this party needs to shape, because I am beginning to believe that we really need a third party in this country something more middle of the line.

Gravatar kanani va, but soon to move to md, and formerly of the beautiful pacific northwest, wa state... my home forever. unfortunately all obambi states... ughhhhh

Gravatar Not voting democrat this year neither is my husband , my two sisters , my mother , my father , and my grandmother.

Gravatar I am a new Democrat for McCain

Cannot support the Undemocratic Party - Donna Brazile's New Coalition does not include me, my wife, my daughter, my son-in-law, my mother, every neighbor I have spoken with, family friends, etc.

Gravatar Leah, New York, NY

Gravatar Howard Dean, Donna Brazile and the Democratic Leadership made it clear that my vote wasn't wanted or needed when they gamed the system.

I re-registered as an Indy on Monday. Barack Obama's their problem now, not mine.

I'll write in Hillary's name, leave the top spot blank, or vote for McCain, but I will never, ever cast my vote for Barack Obama.

Gravatar Bjornsdotter, Illinois

Not voting for Obama and I don't know anyone who is.

PUMA all the way!

Gravatar I will leave the Democratic Party and will never support Sen. Obama for President of this great Nation. I sign my name with pride to show how disgusted I am at what has been the most undemocratic election I have ever witnessed.

Gravatar I have been a devoted democrat. My friend laughed every time I mentioned, "if democrat's nominee is a dog, I'll vote for a dog." I could not believe I'm leaving my party (sobbing). There's no point of staying if respect is missing and turned to corruption.

Gravatar I got a phone call from the Obama party today. What a pleasure it was to tell them I was no longer a Democrat. I'm sorry I can't vote for Hillary Clinton, but I won't mind at all voting for John McCain.

Gravatar Stealing delegates the voters awarded to one candidate and handing them to another is the very antithesis of democracy. Forget coming back in November. Unless there's a radical change in leadership and the party returns to its roots, once again standing for social justice, I won't be returning, ever.

Green candidate Cynthia McKinney, who at least introduced articles of impeachment on Bush, Cheyney and Rice as a symbolic gesture, is the only moral choice left.

Gravatar Goodbye from Rita in Encinitas, CA to race-baiting, sexist un-Democratic Party.

Gravatar Maggie, New York City

Gravatar I was abused as a child, this feels much like that. But, I am not a victim again, this time I have a choice. My choice is to walk out.
Bye Donna, Bye Howard, Bye Nancy, Bye Harry, Bye Race-Bating, Bye Sexism, Bye Empty-Suit,

I am one,
I am one of 18 million,
I am one with them, always,
I am no longer invisible,
I am respected,
I am one...

Gravatar I will stay long enough to write in Hillary's name on the ballot in November. Then I will register as an independent. I completely loathe the party's candidate. I reject the way the DNC cut down the votes in Florida and Michigan. I detest the men in the party who went over to Obama and refused to say anything about the misogyny and sexism that tood place. I detest that they were party to misinterpreting things the Clintons said and blowing them out of proposition. I detest that they put Obama on a pedestal and refused to believe he had any faults, that they just looked over his past relationships as not being relevant.
I could go on, but this is the idea.
Donna

Gravatar Downticket Dems think they're getting a free pass on this.....they may be in for a surprise...

Gravatar The Democratic Party cannot force Unity. 18 Million Hillary voters can't be wrong.

Gravatar I will always only support Hillary for President - NEVER that imposter, corrupt "annointed" one! God bless Hillary Clinton and this country!!!

Gravatar The Democratic Party is NOT united as they would like the country to believe so now they are trying to force UNITY on Hillary's supporters. They are telling us we must support Obama -- or what? I changed my party to Independent and will never support him. They have no respect for us and I have no respect for their candidate.

Gravatar My heart is breaking for Hillary and her wonderful family. I will never, ever forgive or forget what the un-Democratic Party did... they rigged this election!!! Down-ticket Democrats - BEWARE - we are disgusted!

Gravatar Hillary, today my heart breaks for you and our country... the un-democratic process stole all the "hope" and "change" you represent and what our country needs!

Gravatar My love and respect for you, Hillary, is more solidified than ever... forever you have my support as our true 44th President. We will never forget what happened!

Gravatar Dems disenfranchising Dem,s the last straw for me.

Gravatar If what you want to see happen in November is Obama's defeat, then you simply must do the unthinkable: You must plug your nose and vote McCain. I mean it. If McCain doesn't get enough votes, BHO could win. It's not enough to simply NOT vote for BHO. Also, check your own state's rules - some write-ins for Hillary will be counted for the democratic nominee...BHO!

Gravatar I was done with it years ago. Too many 2-white-males tickets, and too many policies that sounded like Republican Lite. The day I joined the Green Party, I felt much better, and I have felt better ever since.

Gravatar When I first registered to vote, I registered as an independent in CA. I felt I didn't know enough about the two parties to align with either one. I soon became a democrat and even campaigned a bit for Jimmy Carter's failed second run. I've been a democrat all these years, sometimes very active in the party. No more. I'm back to not understanding what exactly this party stands for. I'll be changing my registration to "non-partisan." Waiting to see who McCain & Obama select as running mates.

California went for Hillary!

I am absolutely disgusted. Dean, Pelosi and Donna Brazille are a disgrace. I was revolted by Donna Brazille's comments on CNN about "the new democratic party we don't need white working class or Hillary's women we have young people and Blacks." I no longer recognize this party. Can anyone really imagine if Obama had won what Sen. Clinton did that they would have told him sit down? Obama is a dirty Chicago Mob politician. It's sad to think the Chicago Mob is abut to take control of Penn. Ave. If Hillary is the VP I won't vote for that man - I would rather vote for a cock a roach but John McCain will do. Anything to keep the Mobster out of the WH. Thanks for this site much appreciated

Gravatar Hillary Won!

Barack Obama 17,479,386

Just done with the whole party

Gravatar NO OBAMA!!! I WON'T HAND HIM HILLARY'S PRESIDENCY!!! CONSIDER THIS...A VOTE FOR MCCAIN MEANS BO HAS TO GET TWO VOTES TO OFFSET THE ONE VOTE FOR MCCAIN...YOUR VOTE CAN COUNT TWICE AGAINST OBAMA!!! VOTE VETO PROOF CONGRESS AND MCCAIN...THEN HILLARY AGAIN IN FOUR.., IF OBAMA LOOSES THIS YEAR,HE CAN NEVER RUN AGAIN...BUT HILLARY CAN!!!HOW ABOUT A MAJOR THIRD PARTY IN FOUR WITH HILL AS THE CANDIDATE...THE DNC WILL NEVER TREAT HER FAIR!!!

Gravatar The sexism is sickening. This former neighbor of Obama will not vote for him. I'm reregistering as a member of the "Decline to State" Party.

Gravatar Katherine--NYC

BYE Democratic Party!!

I'm independent now!!

Gravatar Hold on to that resolve, people! Come to Denver and shine a light on the shameful way the Dem Party has behaved!

Gravatar It's just not right that the DNC did not count each and every primary vote. It's also not right that superdelegates even exist. The vote should be based on the majority win of the popular vote. This is just more proof that the Democratic party set up this system so that they canfool us into thinking we have a voice, but actually do whatever they really want to do. I am NOT a Democrat now.

Gravatar I sent in my "decline to state" party
affiliation last week. After 25 years
as a registered Democrat, I have broken
with them. I don't relate to the party anymore for so many reasons we all know by now. This primary has caused me to reexamine a lot of my previous perceptions. Hillary did what she had to do but I still can't stomach Obama. I wish I could be excited about the first African American nominee, but he, his supporters, the media, and the DNC have taken all the joy out this occasion.

Gravatar Will not vote for B.O. he stole my vote here in MI, he didn't want it, took his name off the ballot, then wanted to split the delegates even down the middle, then he got 4 extra not one time did he say "I don't want 4 extra, I'm playing by the rules..." What a joke....

I just keep thinking, never count her out, people have counted her out before and she always comes back stronger than before.

However, Howard Dean can for get that "I will fall in line, vote for out guy, and keep your mouth shut."

Screw the DNC

I feel soooo free!

Gravatar I will remember in November and vote McCain . I am so angry at the DNC , the kennedy's and Dean for not backing Hillary . they are still trying to shut women . It is still a mans world and we have to keep fighting . I will never vote obabam . He is a danger to our great country .

Gravatar I wish Hillary would run on the Independent ticket and kick butt .

Gravatar I am SO glad that Hillary supporters are reorganizing in so many other blogs...we have to stick together. I have the feeling, like many others, that something will happen from here to Denver and Hillary will be able to be the nominee. We can wait until 2012, it's not that, it's just that she deserves it NOW and the country needs her NOW and the DNC and Obama and the Media need to learn a lesson and it's up to us, 18 million of us, to make sure we bring back justice to this dirty game they have played with the people. Hillary is just the best that could happen to USA and the world. Darn all those people that made her way to nomination seem impossible.

Gravatar I'm done. I never thought my party would pull Republican election tactics. I guess the DNC figured if they couldn't beat them, they would join them! Citizens choose candidates -- not the Supreme Court, Diebold voting machines or Super Delegates. Then there is the whole primary, caucaus and two-step process debacle with Dems screaming "get out" after the first state has voted! Don't want all the states to get their voices heard, do ya? And the ultimate blow...a Marxist, anti-American Messiah to head the party and any objection, I am called a racist, but sexism is perfectly fine. See ya sweeties!

Gravatar Turning in my NP (Non-Partisan) registration form tomorrow after 34 years as a Democrat and spending the past 5 years eating, breathing and sleeping the Democratic Party. I walked, talked, tabled, registered voters, trained precinct organizers, drove all over the state.

May 31st finished me off.

Gravatar Another registered Democrat bites the dust. It is weird in Florida I can register in one of about 25 different parties.

Gravatar Anne in Nevada - where? Send me an email through my blog!

Gravatar There is no way to effectively coordinate all the many splinter groups that oppose BO's nomination, so the best we hope for is to simply get the word out to come to Denver for the convention, August 25-28 with the expectation of simply being seen. This is not an invitation to chaos. We will be respectful, but we will be strong and there will be many of us. If you know someone in Denver, call and ask if they can put you up, because lodging will be hard to find.

Gravatar To anybody who heard or read the news article in the (London?) Times that Bob Dylan came out with a "ringing endorsement" of Barack Obama, let it be known that he apparently did NOTHING OF THE SORT. he gave an interview intended to discuss his drawings and other artwork, and at the end the interviewer asked him one question on his view of the US political campaign. If you read the interview, or even the quote, closely, all he really did was mention Obama's name!

http://www.nme.com/news/bob-dylan/37146

Dylan has never in 40 years endorsed a candidate or expressed a preference in an election. The only one I'm aware of is the one in his recent book where he says his favorite politician was Barry Goldwater!
Although it's quite possible he'd do it now for the first time (he's done the unexpected many times before), there is only one source for this story, an edited transcript of an interview devoted to something else. So far there's no independent evidence for this interview.

And, if one believes he wasn't sincere or was joking in his remark about Goldwater, then why believe he'd be sincere in a remark about Obama?

If you want to read a real endorsement of Obama by a singer, compare Dylan's with the one by Joan Baez last February:

http://www.commondreams.org/arch...008/02/04/6833/

the differences should be palpable.

Gravatar I have been on the side of democrats since I came into this country in 1991. The best times of my life were under Bill Clinton and to me, he is the greatest living President I have seen. I decided to apply for citizenship after kerry lost and wanted to get a democrat in the white house. I always wanted Hillary because to me she brought the Hope and Change from Bush along with her not Obama. But we having conversations that Obama would be fine too. Well I got actively involved in getting people to caucus in Texas and volunteered for the campaign. I also became member of the County Rules comittee where I saw how systematic the party officials were to get Obama get more delegates in the caucus. Mind, you Hillary won the Primary but Mr. Obama got more delegates in caucuses because of cheating and fraud. Since then I always believed that SDs will know that delegates can be amassed by fraud and will throw their support for Hillary becasue she had majority of the votes. But all I have seen is superdelegate endorsing the most corrupt candidate in the history of the democratic party who has not won a single election without fraud and now party leaders are doing nothing at all to hear our voices and votes. Dem party is no longer my party because I can never be part of such a corrupt organization. I am totally disappointed at this primary, my first election to actually cast vote. I have seen better elections where I come from. USA is really going down and under in every aspect when it can not even hold free and fair elections. Obama will bring nothing more than chaos in this country. Mark my words.

Gravatar Here's a place for ALL the various Anti-Obama people to link up:

If you are the head of a group, become a part of a larger nation, so we can unite in Denver. Individuals are asked to join too.

Gravatar Tennessee went for Hillary in the primary and would have gone blue with her in the general. Now it'll just be another red state. Does the DNC even give a damn?

Gravatar Northern Cal

FDR Dem in recovery. I will make my voice heard in November when I vote not only against Obama but the entire traitor/Dem Cabal. We have been so manipulated. We get McSame or Omarxist.

We need a third party now, not to mention our own TV station and journalists. -Real ones unlike that dearly departed poseur.

PUMA

Gravatar New York New York -
Northern Cal you are right. We definitely need our own tv stations, and not one from Al snore Gore. I am utterly disgusted with him - the stand by do nothing take advantage of what you can Gore. I am voting down ticket Republican - unless there is a Dem who supported Hillary. This New Dem Party is a sham and a disgrace. I have zero intention of supporting the party as long as it includes turn coat Pelosi, the Scream Dean, Howard Reid or Obama. So long to a vulgar and dishonest click of people. I am furious - I stood by this do nothing Dem. in charge Congress for what? Only to be kicked to the curb. I will never forget what has transpired this election season.

Gravatar FYI: Haven't seen anything about this today....this came from someone in Ohio:
Boortz just tied Obama to a terrorist group. (Believe that's Neil Boortz). It will be rebroadcast 6-9 tonight. In NE on KRKR , Lincoln, 95.1 FM, and KKAR, Omaha, 1290, at 9 tonight. The girls that got reseated were/are recruiters for Islamic Terrorists in Michigan. Boortz is a national syndicated talk radio (Liberterian) so should be able to find nationwide. May be interesting........
