i too come from a place that pronouces film..filum and i too cry in the airplane, in the cinema, on a sunday night...uncle buck has to be my most embarassing, philadelphia i was in consolable at the movie theatre, the opening scene of The Lion King at the theatre ( i love it when people work together to bring something together) ...im off on a long plane journey today..i hope the person next to me is ready

I saw "Elf" on a plane, and, while I didn't cry, I did come to the realization that that movie is basically the story of my life.

This is my first trip ever out of the U.S. I'm stuck next to a masseuse and her artist boyfriend who instantaneously inform me that I live in the wrong city and am uncool and "unfuckable" for living there. So, I go to sleep, for one, to avoid them, and two, because it's quite a long flight from the left coast to England. Anyway, I wake up and It's A Wonderful Life was on, on Virgin's personal video screens. And I wept the whole way through. I'd seen it before, knew what would happen, but I just couldn't stop crying. I've probably never cried as much at a movie as I did that night, on that plane, to that movie.
