quantity of pilings and scale aside, mr. foster is trying to emulate calatrava (but does so quite nicely)...the steel frame contruction has been part of his vocabulary for quite some time now, but the fanned-cable froms are clearly an appropriation.

Yeah you could be right. Calatrava rocks though so if you are going to nick someone's ideas then they might as well be his.

in retrospect, i think i may have been to quick to judge sir foster, for now i recall his tower for Swiss Re in London...first eco-friendly skyscraper.
i applaude such green efforts.
