Get a cat and some sensible shoes and wave farewell to your reproductive years. There are worse things.

Not a cat. It's not like I am depressed. Just the opposite really.

Well, you're assuming that your perception of your own life is the true one, when it might be that others have a more accurate viewpoint. In which case, sharing such life isn't a selfish act, but a selfless one because you're letting others want to be around you.
Never mind that the funny thing about plateaus is that they have a habit of going away when you least expect it. So why not embrace the predictable for the moment because it may not stay that way?
Oooh. Deep. Must get shot of frivolity pronto.

mosquitos were created purely for the south. hot weather and booze don't slow us down near enough. the complete trinity will make a crackhead indolent.
computer games are bright colors and a soundtrack for doing nothing.
the Pope you won't have to trouble your head about for long.
ski vacations are for people who are afraid to jump out of an airplane.
the prada thing i can't help you with. switzerland is where despots do their laundry.
chicken fried anything has a dual purpose. either it makes drywall palatable, or, if you do it right, gives chicken a reason to die.
kine of like relationships.
they can make what yankees call "onwee" palatable, or, if you do it right, it'll give you a reason to live. good love will cure anything but cancer. and it'll make that bearable.

Having been exiled in Switzerland for the last 2 years I would just like to add my complete support to all of this. Particularly the pointlessness of skiing.

Here's my solution for mid-winter doldrums: get really, really drunk, act like a fool git, suffer hangover for two days, feel grateful for end of hangover and see what is good and beautiful in everything on third day. Repeat as necessary.

Maybe you should ease off on the Kiwi Pinot Noir, if it brings on these feelings of pointlessness.
Try some Spanish Tempranillo. It might not take away the feeling that we're all on the humdrum road to the inevitable, but it does make the scenery a little more cheerful.
...although I can't guarantee that it will make Switzerland seem any less pointless.

A fucking brilliant entry. Perhaps you have realized that we are all Sisyphus. Yes, I have recognised the absurdity of all this...this...life, but, I haven't reconciled myself to it yet.

It's an mp3 copy of a voicemail left by a guy who witnessed an accident while on his cell phone. It's a laugh riot! Moral: don't get into accidents with little old ladies...

Don't be puzzled by the Pope. He's immortal. Like the fucking Dalai Lama (or Phoenix), he's reborn over and over. We'll never be rid of him. We just gotta get him to stop wearing funny hats and stick to blessing break dancers.

I am fond of Swiss airports.
Dear M. I wouldn't flush the birth controls down the toilet any time soon. You might have the (un)fortunate luck of having a baby at some ridiculously ripe age.
Also I have found an 88 Belle Epoque makes the chicken fried steak go down much more easily.
