I can understand why you'd want to celebrate affirmations of your own choices. But without wanting to be the "smug married", actually it's not that bad. The fact that one has to make sacrifices, share pain and compromise is always countered with the plusses.

Unless you married the wrong person. But then, the gambling is half the fun!
