Gravatar Awesome. You're living the dream. Did I ever tell you I "know" (i.e., met) Barbara Corcoran?

Gravatar Um, you are kidding me, right? Buying at the top of the market would be bad form, my dear. Quite flyover-state unfashionable, I must say.

Gravatar I need somewhere to live and am sick of rent. It works out cheaper for me after tax.

I hear what you are saying though which is why I am not remotely close to stretching myself. I'm not looking at it for investment purposes.

Gravatar Ha. It's a buyer's market now, that's for sure, even (or especially) out here in Armpitsville.

Gravatar I can only imagine that you are either downgrading neighborhood or apartment size, because I would have to nearly double my housing budget to buy what I am renting.

As long as you are buying what you need, something you plan to keep for many years, and the cost isn't significantly higher than renting, then buy away.

Gravatar Yeah, It's gonna be smaller and thankfully no doorman. I will be happier at Christmas.

I will also lose what Smith Barney has yet failed to make for me on mutual funds.

Everyone's a winner.

Also new nabe is better. I shall be next door to Nobu. Not so that i can eat there mind, but so that I can key their car service.
