Welcome to Georgia...I actually have a co-worker, who is supporting Mallory in her quest to get Harry Potter banned, bitch and complain about a teacher at her kids' (private) school for not allowing a kid to bring in the bible to read at leisure. Now don't get me wrong, I don't think there is anything wrong with wanting to read the bible...

I've always known I live in the bible belt but this is actually getting quite scary.. first the "evolution is a theory" stickers in science books in one county (our Republican State School Superintendent agreeing that it's not science) and now this, and who knows how many other incidents I've missed.

And don't even get me started on the immigration issue.

I suppose I better get my broom tuned up and fly on out of here.
