If you end up having to buy try ordering from Dell.

You pick your components and do not get the piles of useless software you never wanted. It shows up ready to just plug in and go within a week.

I like easy.

Something about "build your own" makes me load it up with stuff I don't need, I guess it's the process of sacrificing something I find so painful....Then I click order now, and discover I have ordered a $2,300 computer. Sigh.

I have a Dell 256 for sale-bought in 2005-clean-comes with monitor, printer & all cables. Don't know if this is what you're looking for, but thought i'd tell you about it.
