Kevin, I'm sorry to hear about your younger daughter. My was was diagnosed in 1997. She was considered a type 2 at the time, only because her pancreas was still producing. It was only a "honey moon" stage and soon it gave way. She has what they now call LADA, or type 1.5 diabetes. Our life has changed. Like you, we have 2 children, both girls. Neither has been diagnosed with diabetes. I'm happy to see you have the integrity and inspiration to help educate and enlighten the world about this epidemic. When my wife was diagnosed, it not only changed her life, but our whole family. I have been an equity trader for 10 yrs, and have been trading healthcare and biotech equities for the past 3 years.
