Conservatives can win when they show they have something they believe in. They lose when they say they want the same thing as liberals just not as much. That is what the moderate Republicans do. They play the "me too" game just saying they wouldn't go as far. Garbage. To be successful you need to explain conservative principles (especially economics) clearly over and over until voters understand why they are preferable to liberal policies. I'll admit it is easier to sell the touchy feely liberal bs. Telling the huddled masses that you feel their pain and want to take care of them is an easy sell. We need more John Boehner's and less lazy candidates who take the liberal we will take care of you approach.
