I'm pretty sure I have been a registered republican since Southard ran for BC commissioner in the early 1990s. Although the City of Hamilton did have a socialistic government in place in the 1920s (look that one up), I am not old enough to have participated in it.

The Enquirer story was in error. I have never run for mayor of Hamilton and the filing date for commission race petition is Feb 18th at 4:00 p.m.

This is the same article in which Commish Dixon said that no endorsement is "not a bad thing"...way to try to save some face, Don.
