Gee - if Kay actually resigns, do you think she will finally apologize to me for her office knowing which family member sent a death threat letter to my house during my 2002 race against her, which Journal refused to publish. In addition, why did it take so long to get this story out - and will her long time supporters such as Fox, Jones etc., all bail on her now? And will all the political cronies she appointed to high paid positions in her office distance themselves too! The local Republican party does bear vast responsibility in this mess and it's time for common sense Republicans to clean house - and quit giving lip service. Few people actually stood up to Kay and took her on - but I did!!

I dunno how much "blame" you can put on the county party actually...they didn't endorse her. The party can't be held responsible for rank and file Republicans who voted for her in the primary based on name ID alone...

Wow this blog even brought out Jerome Cook.

I am surprised anyone in the clerks office really wants to get involved in this mess. I know you all hated kay, but come on.

For those of you who may not know, Jerome was one of the guys who ran Cindy Carpenters office "IT" department.

Think wally from dilbert. That will get you an idea of the kinda talent we are talking about.

But before anyone from the clerks office gets too high and mighty, they may want to look at thier own elected offical and think "Is she really any better" the answer there is a resounding NO.
