Yeah, I'm not buyin' it. Since Jeff is a ultraleftist Dem, that also means that by definition he is a liar until proven otherwise. My guess is that LaTourette is Jeff's (and the PD's) excuse for something else. Can you imagine the PD silencing anyone because a Republican politician didn't like him. My guess is that they'd be more likely to put him on the front page than let him go.
My old ER axiom is: "When something doesn't make sense, either you're not smart enough or somebody's not tellin' you something; and it's almost always the latter." My guess is it has more to do with his low-output, low-quality work.
I'd like to thank you for all your high-quality comments at Wide Open. Things like "fedoraboy" and "ding dong the rat in the hat is gone" and "why do you hate our troops?" were such clear indicators of your scintillating intellect.
I'm very happy with my choice. If you were being paid to give partisan commentary but asked you never to write about a particular politician, what would you have said?
