Is it just possible that the system is fouled up beyond all repair?

George Mason (one of the Founding Fathers and an Anti-Federalist) once said something to the effect that free government could not long survive over a large area.

Perhaps we should be looking for solutions at home or out of Columbus, instead of out of Washington.
