If you think the Bob Taft/George Voinovich tax and spend Republican style is what got us into the mess our party is in, you
’ll love Jon Husted. Ohio Republicans need to wake up and get some leaders who walk the talk on taxes and spending. Are there any statewide choices in Columbus who voted AGAINST the Taft tax increases?

Those choices are few and far between, but they are out there...the problem is whether or not they can win. The "moderates" seem to have a controlling interest in the Ohio Republican Party and the conservatives are too pissed off to join up and change things...they'd rather piss and moan on the sidelines and then crow about how "right" they were when we lose.
You are absolutely right about Husted...he's not a conservative Republican and he would be a continuation of the Voinovich/Taft legacy that put us in this hole in the first place.

John Husted should join the Obama flip flop club. He said he hated bloggers and now he is one....a lame one, but by a loose definition he is now one. Lame ass. I will not miss him or his leadership when he is gone. He, Bob Bennett, and others in the party represent a decadent and jaded past that we must shake ourselves loose from their shackles or we will be in deep trouble.
