What a powerful story. You're right - she's my hero, too.
And the events unfolding in El Dorado are bothering me, too. Incidently, I was watching the news tonight while waiting for the debate (how nerdy does that sound?) when ABC ran a piece on what would happen to these YFZ kids - and quoted a UT-Austin law professor. Basically, he said there is precedence to back up counting the entire ranch as one household, would would mean that the state would be required by law to take all the children if one outcry of abuse was made - regardless of how many children there were.

Some things are just completley beyond my comprehension. Why do men continue to think they are the one and the all on this earth? And that they have dominion over all? Women, animals, the environment and even space. Sometimes, I can't help thinking it is the mothers that have gone wrong because we are the ones raising our sons. Just pondering.... and angry.
