Monahan asks: "are the ethics lobbyists asking for too much at once....?" Youg Jurnee Smollett in The Great Debaters proclaimed "No, the time for justice, the time for freedom, and the time for equality is always, is always right now!" |

Hear, hear! |

Um, the gravy train has ethics? A thin gruel at best. |

I saw m-pyre was/is 5 on the blognetnews influence ranking from last week. I thought it'd be rated better. I'll continue to link and comment! |

Ran into someone last night, who said he used to be a big m-pyre fan until things went dark... He was pleasantly surprised to hear things are on fire again over here. |

Love that award name! |

....this 'gator thing is a crack up. I've had at least three people in the last year whisper to me...with a sloppy grin attached...that they are in fact one of these. |

Interesting. Well, I think anonymity can be quite useful in a system that is built on the acquisition of and use of power. A lot of this for me points to how one builds credibility and then maintains it. This can be done in the blogosphere just as it is in the mainstream press of "real journalists." Monahan clearly was ahead of the game in the blogosphere, and didn't have a lot of competition to contend with in the early days (just a few years ago). I don't think he's paid a lot of attention to how to maintain his credibility though in what can only be considered an evolving landscape in New Mexico. |
