I like this assessment very much. I thought the Tubman quotes really worked and hit at some of the more compelling gender/race questions we've dug into via this election. Her quotable quips were great, and "were you just in this campaign for me?" is the best tough-talk to supporters that I've seen, but wrapped in such a powerful way that it didn't come off as strongly scolding as it actually was.

I was really proud of her last night, and thrilled that she nailed it the way she did.

I like how she put it back on her supporters, she wasn't defensive at all, and has now made them look bad if they don't vote for Obama. Nicely done.

On the other hand, her speech actually made me really upset.......upset because she wasn't picked as the VP! Bad move Barack, bad move.

I just talked to a person who was a Hillary supporter, very upset that she lost, very upset that she wasn't the VP and was considering voting for McCain.

He said that as of last night and hearing Hillary Clinton's speech, he's ready to vote for Obama. he didn't think he was the right person for the job before, but after getting that final push fro HC, he's all on board now.

1 more vote for Obama thanks to HC!
