that's just reassurance to the elite that the maverick ain't gonna' do anything stupid...

Finally! Fashion talk from Marjorie!

I always wonder about the clothes, the hair and the make-up. Here's Michelle's designer:

And here are Sarah's glasses:

I'm serious, Marjorie. These are the things I always wonder about. It started with Mamie and I can still visualize how she looked. I even tried to dress like her one time for '50's day at school.

$300k is a flashy number but to be fair you should include Laura Bush's attire breakdown which would demonstrate that the only difference between the value of what the two women wore is in the jewelry. Cindy McCain comes from a very affluent family and therefore it doesn't surprise me that she has expensive jewelry probably inherited, rented, borrowed, owned...whatever.

Yes, the jewelry is what puts her in a totally different class...and it doesn't surprise me either.

So, speaking of fair...given how wealthy they are, is it fair to paint Obama as the elite one? I think not.

Its really very hard to believe that Cindy McCain wore a $300,000 outfit at the RNC.

marjorie,

that's the point. it's visual reassurance to the elite that they won't do anything to mess up the deal.

everything is message. this message (her clothes) is straight to the powerful. it's like don't worry about what you hear, we still got you...

We still got you and we still ARE you, just don't tell anybody else. We are trying to keep it on the down low.

Yes, except there's nothing down low about jungle green and flaming orange.

See how well that's working?
