Hey Marjorie-- I'm with you on hoping to survive the kayaking-- born and bred in the desert makes me slightly suspicious of tiny craft in large bodies of water! Luckily Maggie swears the Sound isn't that deep-- so the kayaking shouldn't be fatal. We'll have to have an extra drink afterwards to celebrate not drowning.

I don't comment on blogs often because just reading them is so time consuming and addictive that I sometimes struggle to get anything done. If I start getting wrapped up in commenting I'll be a lost cause. Also, I'm just not that involved in politics, so I read for your expert opinions, but usually have nothing of note to contribute.
