Amazing work.

Piles and piles of cash...

Seems like there ought to be a website that would list ways to donate to a fund for these people. Or maybe there is a charity that helps people in this situation get back on their feet? Anyone know of one / some? There has got to be something out there that I'm not finding...

One of the Dallas Observer articles mentioned such a fund... I'll research and report back. And the state of Texas does provide compensation for these folks, but the missing link is the personal resource to help see them through it all. As the DO pointed out, rightfully convicted folks who are paroled have more resources and assistance when they get out than wrongfully convicted folks.

Although I do know Jeff Blackburn as a friend, I am a fellow lawyer in his hometown of Amarillo. I am very proud that an Amarillo lawyer is doing justice for these men and for the Innocence Project.
