That sounds like a cool job, sort of like blogging, only poetry. And with muffins. So, in your dream, did you catch the description of what was in the Doorcruncher? I'd imagine lots of fruitcake type stuff, just to give it that crunching weight.
When I read The Doorcruncher I was thinking more of a german chocolate cake type muffin. I don't know why, just makes me think of it. I love weird dreams that make think about them all day.
