I don't have a fave stall, but I do prefer one with a proper wall.
There is nothing more likely to put my off having a poo like hearing farts on either side of me.
I live alone, I prefer to crap alone too.
As for urinals, I'm shy. I use a stall.
Oh, and for dirty bathroom sex?
No stall preference.
i guess i should be clearer in my questions, i don't mean in a general overall sense, but in the public bathroom that you use everyday. i don't always go to the second stall in every public bathroom, it's just in the one at work, it's my work toilet.
i have to say, i have never had sex in a bathroom. not sure how i'd feel about sex in a public bathroom...

It's instinct to use the same stall...I seem to remember a CBC special many years ago that talked about this instinct - well actually that was just a side note to the real study which had to do with what makes someone choose the toilet they do when first using a public bathroom. As I recall the results were inconclusive.
A porta potty tech, not sure of what they are called, once told me to use the stall that is the furthest away because it will be the cleanest, people do not want to wait, and that has stuck with me, I always use the public stall the is the most out of the way.
i don't know, i think "porta potty tech" is a pretty good title. think that's on their business cards?
I heard the same tip that Camille did and so I too try to use the stall the furthest away. But at work the stall closest to the door is mine. And I get a bit upset when someone's in it.
