For some reason I'm once again having problems posting comments so here I go again...
It must be hard to have your mother living in another country. My parents live here, but all our other relatives live in Scotland. It's so difficult. I can't imagine having to experience that with my mum. Hugs, sweetie.

Leaving always sucks. And you and your mum are so awesome together. Like all things good, you make each other better. I don't suppose this is helping any - I just mean, I know why you feel this way. And it sucks.

*hugs tight* Hell I found it hard enough when I was at Uni in Peterborough and mom was in Southampton (Ontario). I was so homesick I used to call crying on the phone in the middle of the night all the time. She's the one missing me nowadays though, so she finally persuaded me to move back up here, and I am enjoying it, even if it's a bit quiet. She's so cute, she keeps getting all excited about being able to do stuff with me that she can't do with brother (16). I can certainly sympathize though. Been there, done that, used up the sixty boxes of tissues...
