Hang in there and you'll be OK. I know how it is to have such a close relationship with your mother. I miss mine very much [passed away 5 years ago] but I am glad I enjoyed and appreciated the times I had with her. And from what I read, I am glad you do too! xoxox

Thank god for the phone and internet. I mean they are poor substitutes for mum in the flesh, but they are a huge help in getting through to 2006. Which, btw, is an aweful long time. It sucks that she's so far away...

Big mental hug! I know how hard it is to say goodbye, but hold fast to the good memories and be happy that in today's modern age there are lots of great ways to stay in touch all the time! You are soooo lucky to have a mom you love and love to spend time with! I know I cherish my mom-time, and even though I don't live that far away from her, finding time together is always difficult.
