Gravatar I find cilantro is a great herb to use no matter what and lime would nicely break the strong caesar flavour so I think that is great. The other thing I have done before is lemon, garlic and wine with some seasoned salt but that might be too much garlic in the meal. As for the side dish, those potato packets sound delicious - go with that!!! But for veggies, I think the grilled veggies is better than asparagus...it would add more textures and flavours to the meal.

Gravatar The potato recipe sounds absolutely delish! Personally I'm a major asaragus fan, so I would go that route myself.

For me I tend to do a pork marinade with apple juice, cloves, cinammon and allspice. I know it sounds weird, but the combination really works nicely with pork! With ceasar salad though I'd probably go more savory. A garlic rub is always nice and would work with the salad.

Gravatar I don't know, I'm just getting hungry reading this.

Gravatar I always marinade my pork in a marinade of~1/4 cup of pc memories of kobe with 2 cups of peppercorn ranch dressing. Mix the two and add to pork in a plastic ziploc baggy and marinade overnight. Then bbq the meat till done.
This is amazingly easy and really delicious.

Gravatar As for my suggestions, I would have to consult with my cook....across the street. I will get back to you.

Gravatar You know that cooking.com and other sites have great receipes to help with. I myself am such a sucker for a woman cooking that I wouldn't care if you made reservations :)

Yay Snafu !!!!!

Gravatar my favourite is recipezaar actually. although i rarely cook from a recipe, i do sometimes use them for inspiration...

Gravatar Epicurious.com is one I use a lot. If it's something I've never made before I like to try an actual recipe first and then play next time I make it.

Gravatar Anything with sun-dried tomatoes. You can NEVER go wrong with sun-dried tomatoes.

Gravatar I have cut mine and stuffed it with arugula, sundried tomatoes and feta and roasted or bbq'd it, and then slice thorugh for great presentation. You can also try servoing a cold/warm spinach salad, with walnuts, pin nuts and a wine, oil dressing that has been warmed. Put that over the salad to wilt and serve slightly warm. Adding dried cranberries and feta also adds a lovely flavour.

Gravatar Ask my mom.
ANd then do the exact opposite of what she says.

Gravatar notice no comments by st. snafu... ;)

Gravatar Anything you make is AWESOME. If it helps, I do hate mushrooms, olives, horseradish, and mustard though...but you know that.
