I agree with Paddy...that certainly was not the post I was expecting when I read the title...you'll have to look past me for a Scrabble partner, I am lucky if I can spell any word longer than 5 letters. :)

I am not a cunning liguist, but I do have a sharp and fast tongue. I love scrabble as well, but barely have time to pay bills and catch up with tv. Scrabble for me is a great cottage game.
ever seen word wars??? its an amazing documentary that follows around these scrabble champions and their all fucking nuts. you'll love it. ;)

Hey, I love scrabble ... no cunning linguist, but it's fun. Like Snooze, I also possess one of those travel Scrabble sets ... well sort of ... I gave it to my son, so I'd have to steal it from him ... not that I have a problem doing that, actually.
i have a travel version too. it's at the hospital with a friend right now, but i'll have it back in a couple weeks...
I love scrabble too - but I was told recently that taking too much time is against the rules. So I guess I kind of have a reputation for cheating.
Hey girlie. I'm remarkably literate as a linguist. Almost bilingual at times ;-) But I would suggest, if you have Yahoo IM that we could play Literati there. It's pretty groovy and free.
