The no-invite thing is horrid, but yeah, try and see if your manager had some sort of reason, like sparing you an endless meeting. And I think not getting credit for ideas, even if they aren't earth shattering, is terrible. It's hard to speak up and say 'that was mine' without seeming petty. Hugs darling.

i talked to my manager and it was basically that there was specific information they wanted from the other person and they figured that she was more familiar with that piece of the project. otherwise neither of us would have been there.
Oh Baby, it sounds like a shite day. I've come to the conclusion that when someone else grabs your idea it's best to say something like, "Jeez, Stacey, you didn't seem to think it was such a great idea when I told you about it yesterday. What made you change your mind?" All the while smiling like a maniac. sometimes a little punch ot the upper arm is good too, do that when you say Jeez.
I know you hate this idea but I bet when you're old like me you'll think it's brilliant. ;-)
Of course if it's your manager taking credit for your work it's a whole different problem.
