I wish that I could bring her here to do stuff. I did send her 15.00 though.
Sigh - someone in to clean my house would be a dream. The Good Father and I keep talking about it and putting it off. "When I start making X per year, we can do it," "After we reno the kitchen/bathroom/living room/garage," name it, we have an excuse why not to get a cleaning lady.
I hadn't heard about this project until I read this post (I know, I know, what rock have I been hiding under). I think what she's doing is great. Ditto for your support of her project.
sister - we used to get a cleaning lady every second week. it was WELL worth it. it might cost less than you expect, you should try it once you pull out from the chaos that your previous job situation no-doubt left you in. unless you are actually putting that $80/mo into a savings account somewhere for your kitchen reno, then i say go for it!
dan - i hadn't heard of it either until i came across her ad in craigslist.
