Glad to hear that you love and appreciate your mother as you do. It's important and better than feeling it once she is gone. I miss my mom too, every day...but unfortunately I won't get to see her again.

heheh, paddy, i was sitting here reading this thinking that you were instructing me to hum a tune to myself and i couldn't figure out what the tune might be. apparently i'm a bit slow today.
I so know that feeling. When I was living in Toronto and my mother was in Southampton, it was terribly difficult. But now we're close and half the time she's exasperating me ;-)
Also, I think this weather isn't helping our moods much. I'm weepy because I ran out of the happy pills and the weather totally fucking sucks. I wish it would just snow already, at least that's pretty.
