I'm so jealous. I skipped the gym for a month and almost threw up when I went back on the treadmill. 25 minutes on the elliptical is very impressive in my book. Yay Mainja!

i maintain my stance: the elliptical machine is the devil's creation. of course, i think the same thing about the gym in general, but yay you anyway!

Faboo for you! I think that making the effort to take care of yourself is always something to celebrate and exercise always gives me a good rush. Personally I can't do gyms - too lazy even though there's one like a two minute walk from my house. Instead I belly dance and on my off days plunk myself down on my exercise bike that's parked in front of the tv. I find if I watch a show the time goes faster.

That's pretty impressive, actually - 25 minutes on the elliptical after a year absence is nothing to sneeze at. And the fact that you had the stamina to willingly go and do another 20 minutes of circuit afterwards? I'd say you have a lot to be proud of - keep it up!

Woo Hoo! Any hard cardio is tough, so that's really cool. I too started on the weights and core muscle training this past weekend, and felt totally banged up for a few days. Nothing feels better than muscle burn, eh? lol

just 'cause i know you're all dying to know...
thursday i did 10 minutes on the treadmill (while waiting for a cross trainer to free up) and 35 minutes on the cross trainer on interval training.
