dickey - i have heard that amato is decent if you order in and fresh, but the stuff we get is crap. bleh.

Wow, I'm with dickey on this one. One of the things I miss about moving away from the GTA, right behind REAL sushi, is Amato's pizza (and Papa Luigi's pizza but that was near my old place in Etobicoke so I'm not sure it counts). We have nothing comparable up here. The closest 'international' cuisine are three reasonably okay fast food chinese places and the Kozhi Shack Curry House which I haven't been in yet. But then maybe Amato's quality depends on the chef who's working, and the outlet. There are a few different ones.

Don't feel bad, Dae. In cobourg, I saw a guy walk into a Pita Pit and ask for a slice of 'deluxe'. He'd never heard of pita, and thought it was a misspelled pizzaria!
