I know how you feel!
I've made some good friends (cheers to you!), met some other interesting people that I might call 'friends' one day, had "mutual support" email conversations with bloggers that I've never actually spoken to, had some insight into my own life, and laughed at/ with other bloggers.
I'm also having trouble coming up with new posts, and have pretty much come to the same conclusion: One sentence, at least. As long as it makes sense to me...
If you want to make your blog less personal and less 'I did this today...', why don't you pick a topic every day or every other day and post on it. You could check out Sunday Scribblings and some of their prompts, which are often interesting. Even the most boring of prompts can set your pen moving in strange directions.
