Wasn't/isn't there an expression "threaded his brows" or something like that - sorry about the gender bias. I seem to remember it vaguely from old novels.

I dunno, I have just heard that it hurts. But the person who I was discussing it with may have been talking about it in reference to other areas of the body aside from the eyebrows.

I've heard Little India is a good place to go and that it really doesn't hurt so much. But I've never tried it personally.

Threading is fucking excruciating, but it does do a nice job. I get mine threaded in my neighbourhood (Roncesvalles), but I think they probably have better shops in Little India.

Happy Birthday! New to your site.

I had threading done just last Saturday at GeeBeauty on Roxborough Ave (Corner of Yonge St.) And it WASN'T painful at all. Certainly less painful than leg was IMHO. I wear contact lenses and I was a little teary for 10 seconds. But the best part is that I find my sensitive skin around the eye area does not get red like tweezing or waxing.

It took less than 10 minutes in the chair.

I can recommend you a leading day spa in downtown Toronto for the best threading service in Canada.

Go there and you never go anywhere else for threading. There is an expert and she is goddess for skin care and eyebrow shaping, I tried so many places since i have met her i am not looking anywhere, even some one is offering free.

Threading is not painful. In addition, if you keep regular appointments (based on your hair growth), I go once in three weeks...it should be fine. I have been getting my eyebrows, upperlips, chin and face threaded for last 15 years now and I would never my eyebrows waxed....the results are great with threading.
