Creating fantasies for children is the best part of being a parent. And the tax break, too, but answering questions about Santa, what he eats on the sleigh, how the reindeer go poo, why Mrs. Claus never gets to go anywhere, and what Santa gets for presents make the day worth the fifty hours of shopping, wrapping, and overtime.
I love your blog and believe me, I hated giving up my son's size 4 underoos. I wish I could put a brick on his head and keep him little.
Come visit my blog sometime and let's try linking up(?)

You would have lost me on "daughter" and "lace" except for the fact I just read her blog and she already said she's not going to take pictures, so ...
Seriously (hey, I can do it on occasion), I hope you and your entire family had the most incredible Christmas ever.

Two wonderful things about you:
1. You are blessed with an amazing family.
2. You know it and appreciate it.

"I looked at my children and my husband with more than my eyes this morning, as we opened presents in the same way and in the same order, ate the same breakfast we always eat on Christmas morning"
I couldn't read any further. I cried. I cried. I bawled. I am so empty. There is nothing left of me. For the first time in 27 years I was without my parents on cmas morning and without my sister for the first time in 21 years.

Just clicked in from your banner.
Bit off-topic, but what I wanted to know is:
Do thongs itch? (I'd hate to find out the hard way).
Merry hols from the UK!

You are so blessed to have such a beautiful family...but you know that
Now that my boys are 11 and 12, I'm noticing a little of the magic going. That wide eyed innocence of smaller children. It makes me sad, yet the wonderful people they are growing up to be makes me glad.
Bittersweet.
