Ack! You're going to Michigan in the morning? You HAVE to leave the Cat in the garage with a litter box and food and water, even though he will most likely poop everywhere. You can't leave him out overnight in snow taller than he is. Please, bring the Cat in. If you want, I'll come home and clean up the poo. Just DO NOT leave him outside while you're gone. He's too old to outrun coyotes and other predators in the snow.

We went on a cat poop hunt once. Found it in the box spring. The devil had torn a hole and crawled into it. Yes, we threw it out!
