I still think it's hysterical he doesn't think kids should get preference into college for any reason. Um, HELLO, Mr. Dad-got-me-into-Yale....
What's really scary is that we're paying for someone to write those speeches FOR him.

I won't hijack Mamacita's blog, but as someone who adores Truman and has, shall we say, less than charitable views about the current resident of 1600 Penna. Ave., NW, Washington, DC, at least Truman actually WAS plain spoken (and didn't mangle the English language).
Truman came from the "common folk" and that was reflected in his policies. George W. Bush comes from Andover, Harvard, Yale, and the wealthiest among us, and that, too, is reflected in his policies.
Now forget I said any of that, as this is Mamacita's blog and I don't want a fight here. She's too good a person to have a political minutiae debate. (Come over to my place instead!)
