Your 'MOM' list is so true. Sometimes I have to take a step back and just thank my mother for the wonderful things she does... I probably should tell her more often.

Mom's birthday would have been a week from today. She would have been 70 this year. I still can't make biscuits like she did. I used to call and have her walk me through the process. She didn't have a recipe. She just felt her way through it.

And hey, you're not old until you're at least old enough to be MY parent.

They need to add one catagory

12 - 13: Mom is blinded by love for me so I can lie to her and she will believe me. If for some unknown reason she calls me on it, I will yell at her for calling me on it, and then she will believe me. If my yelling doesn't work, I will sulk for two days because I am now convinced my mom is not blinded by love for me.

I'm just saying...you know... for instance... not personal experience of, oh, this entire weekend.

Good post - My mom and I had it out at Christmas - cleared the air and then some but now its so much better.
And we take some vitamins - some being the operative word.

Googd post. Jay and the three little ones spent last night with us. About 9:30, Jay went to take the baby out for a walk--Luka was all covered up, but Jay was wearing sweats and a tee. "Where is your coat, mister?" was my comment

As the eldest of six, let me just be the one to say "WHY is it I SHOULD go first?" HUH? When we were young, I was expected to let the younger ones "go first" in lines or get the first shot at the snacks "since they are little." HAH! Now I should go first because I'm older? I think NOT!!
